Keep them oil wells pumping overtime so the price comes down and we can drive the hell out of our gas guzzling fun machines on the cheap!!!
Pumping as much as we can!! Let's go Brandon.... unintended consequences.... would still rather have the alternative! And yes, I am a NATIVE of Austin, believe it or not!

It was FIVE inches (5)..... on top of ice and then ice on top of that..... and it was COLD also.... had to be in the 'teens.... most of the oil wells in our backyards were struggling..... BUT we are really making it up now at $70/barrell!! :)
It’s mind blowing to me how just a small amount of snow and ice can wreak havoc on some parts of the country. So thankful of our infrastructure! I will gladly take our winters over your tornado’s though!

No updates for me, tracker still says in production with estimated delivery of 1/3. This whole process has been depressing but I’m still looking forward to getting my truck, especially since it will be my first raptor. On a brighter note, will any of you from 10/11 be going to raptor assault? 10/11 is the best squad so it would be cool to coordinate a bit if people are going.

Same for me, haven't had an update in a while and my ETA still shows 12/26. Glad we're getting the 21's now with the last of the chip upgrades (led's and interior temp dials) lol. I would like to plan on going some time next year. Maybe in the early spring end of winter?

I live in atl (originally from NYC) and this is most certainly the case here. A little snow or ice shuts EVERYTHING down quick!! However, I don’t want my local government allocating unnecessary resources toward events that only happen every 3-4 years and last only a few days.

I hear you barking, but the amount they would spend on the vehicles and equipment pales in comparison to the millions if not billions lost due to the economic impact and personal loss of the shutdowns from the bad weather. Short-term pain for the long-term gain. Just my $.02.

No one’s barking…I’ve never done an actual comparative analysis of lost revenue vs allocation of resources, but being from up north I used to feel similarly about not being prepared. Over time I have come to believe that money spent on infrastructure in the OTP (outer perimeter) has benefited us more than spending millions in very rarely used supplies and equipment.

LOL it was figure of speech my man. If they have the equipment and resources you could clear the roads and salt them avoiding many deaths from car accidents and also tremendously cut down on lost revenues from business closures. In the times we are in now we have telework which would also allow some folks to work from home and avoid the treacherous roads. Think about it, in this country we never are prepared for anything, we are always reactionary as opposed to being proactive and being prepared for the worst. It makes total sense.

All good… In New Jersey and up north I agree with you. And I’m most certainly a proponent of being proactive rather than reactive…that philosophy has most certainly served me well both personally and professionally. But I’m also a huge supporter of efficiently allocating resources that make sense long-term. I think you’re assessment is a bit dramatic as it pertains to the reality here in ATL. To each their own…

That would work for me, as our trucks arrive maybe we can coordinate with any of us interested.
