Installed a Foutz skid plate. Offroad Alliance had one more on their eBay store for cheap. I’m guessing it’s old stock since the FMI logo isn’t cut into it.

ZL1 Addons Big D billet aluminum red powdercoat tow hooks installed.

They look rad.
Interesting. I installed Ford Raptor R tow hooks on my 801 and wasn't able to use the existing shrouds because of the width of the new tow hooks. I had to use the shroud that came with the R which was also a little shorter. Those look nice. Did you drop the skid plate to install them?

Yep. I just trimmed the stock covers with a Dremel so the bigger square ones fit through the opening. No big deal.

Whole install took maybe an hour.

Decided to take the chin spoilers off too.

Thanks for the heads up. Had been looking to buy this and you saved me a goodly amount of cash. Which will go back into other Raptor accessories. Install looks to be fairly straightforward although having a lift would probably make the job easier.

Yea having a shop built with a 2 post lift in my back yard was something that I had worked towards for a long time.
Install wasn’t bad. Ramps would be enough to work under there though.
I did have to trim an 1/8” off of the square tube crossmember because it didn’t fit between the LCA mounts. So, after you pull off the stock skid plates, check that fitment. That held me up because I painted the bare metal and waited for it to dry. I only needed to trim the passenger side. Everything else fit perfect.

Noted and thanks for the advice. Jealous of the shop and lift and glad that it came together for you. Maybe someday for me but not at the current location. At this time it’s ramps, jacks and jack stands.

I think out of all the red tow hooks out there the oem raptor r ones look the best imo
