At 7:00am, myself and JohnnyBeagle met up to start our run. My truck is a 13 black screw. His is a 13 purple wrapped scab
First thing we did was hit the obstacle course. Mild hill climbs with various obstacles.
Here's Balu going up a few different hills
So now it was my turn. I chose to go up 3 different routes. First route was basic. Second route had giant ruts. 3rd route had boulders in the way
Next we hit some trails. Not your tradition Raptor style trails. Not very wide but not once did we scrape or have to pull our mirrors in. Great scenery. We even seen a family of deer.
Even more trails. Nothing too hard. We didn't top 50mph. Lots of hills and whoops. Blind corners everywhere. And this is open land that must be shared with dirt bikes and quads.
It was cold this morning for Southern California. 38 degrees. And very windy. And before you guys flame me, I said it was cold FOR SOCAL. We don't like in Maine by choice. We were at the park for 4 hours and encountered less then 5 bikers and maybe 2 other trucks.
Balus M&R 20 inch bar shined bright all day and mine in my grill served just as well. I kinda wanted to ride at night just so I can power up my M&R hood mounts. Neither of us got any flats or anything that broke. All in all it was a fun run. Only 5 hours but we needed to get away
