So at the last moment this wholesale they pulled f-150 allocation. I'm not sure what that means exactly for Tremor production, but we were supposed to get more F-150 trucks scheduled and then they stopped it. So we were only left with the leftover scheduling from the month previous.

I was originally told the last 2 months of production would be Raptor and Tremors that got built. We haven't had any stock F-150 tremors scheduled because we've mostly been feeling retail demand.

The only retail that's not getting pulled for us currently are 3 higher end trims (platinum/limited) and the Tremors.

I wish I had a good answer as for when, but all we had schedule this week were Lariat trims.

Guess I just wish I understood the rhyme/reason of who gets scheduled when. Is it the size/volume of the dealer you order from? There are guys who ordered a week after I did and are having their trucks built next week. Wish there was some more transparency from Ford.

I have explained this somewhere on here and it may not be 100% accurate but does seem to make sense. I have seen some emails from Ford to dealers and spoke with some folks at different dealers that have said the same. Problem is most dealers DO NOT HAVE A CLUE.
Let’s say your dealer got 4 allocations. Ford told them they could only submit 1 or 2 immediately. Those got scheduled. The remainder 2 or 3 were supposed to get submitted in July and/or August. Then they would be scheduled. Dealers entered the orders as they came. That is why orders sat with Ford before scheduling.

Now in regards to getting pushed back and then rescheduled. We know there were some delays with the paint and practicing on stock orders but I’m not sure how the order of the pushed back trucks were rescheduled. Example.. my dad and I both trucks from the same dealer. He was number 1 and I was number 2 at our dealer. This particular dealer only got 3 allocations and was to only enter their first immediately and mine later but they entered them both immediately. His was immediately scheduled to 7/19. Then rescheduled to 8/2 with a 8/5 build day. Then pushed back to 9/27. I was recently a scheduled to 9/27 about 2 weeks ago. We currently both sit at 9/27. I would have thought he would have moved up since he was our dealers number 1 allocation and initially scheduled very early.

Who knows!!

I know this might be blasphemous to some, but honestly I’m not terribly upset to be in the 9/27 group.

This is a new model year and there are bound to be early production issues (already have been with paint bubbling etc.), some of which might not be immediately apparent. Hate to sound like a selfish d i c k but I don’t hate the idea of having a month plus of people driving their trucks around to work out some kinks.

I’m typically not an optimist but I really do think that being relegated to the end of the line might actually be somewhat of a blessing. We’ll see how this post ages…

I think your reasoning for your 9/27 production date is a bit unrealistic. A months time is not even close to enough for recognizing a problem and then fix it in production. Sorry not going to happen. Tell yourself whatever you have to. .
