See no where on there does it say "Scheduled Retail orders are allowed to change"
you are correct it does not, long story short i have a contact in dearborn whose in high places. He informed me that if the build week is 3+ weeks out, and the dealership knows how to work the system "concepts" it can be changed via concepts to the 52X removal of auto stop start, he informed me further most dealers are unaware of modifying so that could be an issue. Also he informed me that if the build week/date is 3+ weeks out but actually "locked in for sure" it might not be able to be modified. Basically the dealer makes the change, and submits it in the system, and within 24-48 hours the plant will confirm or deny the change depending where it is in the scheduling process aka "locked in a date already or not". Just cause its sept 27th for us, mine might not be locked on sept 27th but yours could be meaning mine might get moved up, and yours might remain. Hope this makes sense!

furthermore taking my friend/contact out of the equation that did nothing for me i promise, i just asked my dealer to make the change yesterday and this morning it was accepted. I never gave the contact my vin or info at all I promise cause im trying to help out, so it can be done on your own, just depends where your at in the process and if your dealer is savy LOL.

Thanks, I appreciate the info! I am just stuck between this awkward situation of telling my dealership "well I heard on the internet" and them telling me they can't do it. I've also been one step ahead of them this whole time. Debating reaching out to the Sales Zone Manager (found her on LinkedIn) and going over them completely. If I am wrong then that means I am locked in 09/27 and that just sucks even more and then I look like an idiot.

It’s not worth upsetting the Apple cart. The internet also says Bigfoot exists so....

my advice personally, is go directly to the dealer. According to my dealership only the original person who ordered the vehicle can make the change, so even if you go to the zone manager they will have to contact them anyway to make the change. you could reach out to them and see still but id start with the dealership! its no big deal give it a whirl its your vehicle you should be entitled.

I just called the dealer and spoke to them about 86ing the start stop. They said they can’t do it on their end so I politely asked if they could check in with the zone manager. Anxiously awaiting a call back

00, do you know if this is something that can be disabled after? Like if we took it to a Ford dealer found they disabled it for you?
