That’s cute you think @The Car Stereo Company had some cool stories. :lol2: :busaballs:
j/k I wouldn’t know you totally ignored me until you went to leave, :p
That’s interesting that after the service it went away. How many miles had it been since its last transmission service? Did the shop notice anything like the fluid was burnt or old?
It was a great time. My truck got a little dirtier than it should have thanks to me pulling off to the side to head back home next to a mud hole so everyone could splash me with muddy water as they went by! I bet you guys were laughing your butts off! Thank goodness I just closed my windows! So...
Was realizing that I use the Fuelly app (a recommendation from a FRF member) and noticed my mpg screen is usually 0.2 to 0.5 gallons off from my actual according to the app. Not sure how your hand calculations are panning out.
That miles to E will not reset, but will adjust if you leave it running at least five minutes or so. I also believe back in the day someone mentioned you can calibrate it with Forscan, maybe I should try and see if I can find that thread?
Learned to drive out in Ridgecrest (back in the day), had dreams of becoming the next Iron Man Stewart, :p , but life happens. I would definitely be putting more miles on my Raptor if I lived out there. Back in 2017 I was out in AZ for a work thing and was just loving the Raptor out there!
I also purchased mine with full intention to keep it until I can’t physically drive it anymore, say maybe when I reach 100y/o?:p I keep it in the garage when I am at home and it’s bone stock. However, I drive it a lot, and over time that just adds up to say about 285,000 miles to date. I know...
This would make me believe that it’s a laminate issue. Have you discussed it with your dealership? If it wasn’t a warrantied item I think I would have to replace the windshield as that would drive me nuts trying to see out in the rain.
I daily mine, hell I drive it everywhere. It would be smart to have a commuter car but I just enjoy driving the Raptor. Yes the mpg is horrible, yes parking garages can be tricky, but come on, the smiles per gallon are worth it. I once had to drive my wife’s FX45 while mine was in the shop for...
I’m interested, would just need to work out when to make sure we can make it. I’m on the hook for a work trip mid May but I will try and work something out when we can get more details.
Back in the day I went from smoking at 18, to chew when they banned smoking on the flight line, to finally dipping because everyone did. I mainly did Skoal as Copenhagen was too much like worm dirt for my gappy teeth. I did go through a spell where we had gotten some free Rooster logs one...
Let me think. My lead frame replacement was $1101 out the door. As for what has happened over the last 282k miles that wasn’t routine maintenance like oil, brakes, tires, and shocks. I had some warranty work done on the B pillar trim that came undone shortly after purchase. My first transmission...
As for a daily driver since @CleverGirl_ threw me under the bus, the newer generation Raptors do drive better than a Gen 1. However I love driving mine so to each his their own. If you are set on Apple car play a Gen 2 is the easy button, there are ways for 2013-14’s to get it from what I have...
