@full-race geoff you mind making time for a phone call sometime? As I do more research i have some questions about some of the different components.
dm me and we can exchange numbers if your willing to chat
Look into the Gladiator XComp AT or XT. The AT and XT are both about 71-72 lbs and come with a road warranty and substantially cheaper than those other brands. I just picked up their XComp AT in a 35 and so far so good, haven't tested offroad yet though.
Yeah.... @GooseTuned needs to get into the tire warranty business lol you costing us too much money brother hahahhaha.
So far the Grabber ATX lasted me the longest at 37k, Cepek ext 27k, Wrangler Territoy MT 11.5 k. Hoping for the best with these!
So..... 11,256 miles later I've gone through 3 of these tires. I really wanted to love them but I had to replace the entire set. I just lost all faith in the tires. 2 had worn down to 2/32nd and one busted at the sidewall I rotate my tires every 4k miles.....
Now I drive my truck pretty...
@802Avalanche try this, it's worked great for me thus far with 0 issues!
bbfly-A9 OBD II OBD2 16 Pin Splitter Extension 1x Male and 2X Female Extension Cable Adapter (2FT/60CM)
Do you have any recommendations on the above parts?
Heads from a Gen3 3.5?
I got the update cam phasers at 112k and she has been running great click clack free for the last 7k miles.
Was thinking about pulling the nicest local ho 3.5 I could find and start piecing this together little by...
Looking for any and all input for strapping this onto a refreshed/built 3.5 going into a 2017 Screw.
Reason I'm building over buying an R is I love my truck and already have given it my personal touches to include the full SDI setup, if I'm being honest I'm to lazy to rip it all out and go back...
@smurfslayer do it now..... (Arnold voice) best mod hands down even over the newer Gen3 suspension (stock). It's a whole different animal on and off road with the sdi, I say spring extra time at SDI and send the shocks to them for their re-valving and special sauce. If you haven't already...
@802Avalanche yes, however, in order to get a good connection I removed the OBDII port from under the dash via the two screws on each side. I then wound up my SDI and COBB cables into a nice bundle and zip tied them to other plastic pieces of the trim much higher up into the dash to keep it out...
@tlrmade
To me they look plenty aggressive especially for a mainly street driven truck and they do great on the highway. At 10+lbs lighter than just about any other offroad tire in this category I'd say go for it. They perform great as street tires and imo better than the generals, bfgs, and...
These have been great thus far, plenty of high speed offroading and they are well suited for desert running and some rock climbing. At a load C rating idk how hard I'd push it on the sharp stuff but for what I do they have been awesome. Also can't beat 25% usaa perks...
Does anyone know where I can get the parts for cam phasers replacement?
My shop is telling me 2 to 3 months. Unfortunately for me this is my daily during monsoon season in AZ so my bike isn't really an option right now.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Looking for any downpipes someone has laying around. Getting a lot of misfires and downpipe code came up. Let me know what you got
2017 Screw stg2 tuned, only mods are cvf intercooler and drop in filter
I used high temp jb weld until I find a replacement.
Clean it really good and then high temp jb plastic weld it. Been holding strong ever since with no leaks
For the life of me I can't seem to find the part number for the rear side fender support brace. I kissed a mesquite tree and bent the inside of the rear fender in a little. I was able to push it out but the skinny rod like support brace is bent to shit and won't pop back on the nipple on the...
Mine have been on for about 3 weeks and all I can say is wow....
Truck is a whole new beats high speed roading. Haven't hit any rock climbing trails or anything other than high speed sandy roads but what a difference.
