I have a Ford extended warranty Premium Care! They are not denying for modifications, they are denying for external damage which did not happen. I have rear leaf springs and Eibach front springs.Factory struts and shocks.
When the front differential popped the vehicle stopped going up the road and slid backwards into the ditch. The ditch was only about a foot deep and my truck was not on the ground. The dealership said the ford warranty sent out an inspector because of the cost of repair. There is no damage under...
I have told them that I am not going to just bend over. I want the denial and reason in writing. They said for me to get it from the dealership. I told them that my contract is with them and if they are denying a covered part that I want the reason for denial in writing. They put me on hold and...
Update on my truck, The warranty department sent out an inspector and they denied the claim for something that did not happen and is not even possible. They are stating that they think the broken differential is from an outside impact and not from an internal parts failure. When the inspector...
I am hoping that the Ford ESP will cover it. The service rep said she wasn't sure they would and that the technician thinks I over torqued it. She made me give her authorization for the repair in case the warranty declines to pay before she would order parts.
I understand what you are saying about continuing to drive, but I had a Elk and three guns and about 3k of personal property in the truck and was just trying to get it to the dealership. I have had things stolen by wreckers in the past and was trying to avoid that.
1300 miles and 80K! I am broke down 1300 miles away from home and I called my local dealership in Tennessee and they don't understand why it wouldn't be covered.
I was on a Elk hunt in Montana and was trying to get off of the mountain when the front differential popped while accelerating up a hill. After it popped It slipped down into a ditch and my front tire was punctured. I had to change the tire in 30in of snow and it took me 6 1/2 hours to get off...
I just dropped my 18' Raptor 31k off with a whine coming from the rear while driving that gets louder the faster you drive. It does not change in 2wd or 4wd. Hopefully, its an easy fix.
On factory wheels and tires it has about 2.5 inches of rake. 41 3/8 in the front and 43 7/8 in rear with a full tank. I don't mind the rake that much, but it is a little firm in the rear is how I would describe it. I'm getting use to it though.
Yes, I have the bump stop spacer and everything works as advertised. I raised the front a little with Eibach's. I have left the rear on option 3 for now.
Ok, something must be different. I have a 2018 with Eibachs in front and Icon leafs in the rear on option 3. My measurements with less than a qtr tank of gas are left front 41 4/8, right front 41 5/8, left rear 44 1/8, right rear 44 3/8. I would have thought that option 1 would be around 42.5 or...
I have a few questions. Did you install these yourself or did you have them installed? Did you change anything else in the rear? Did they remove the block in the rear? Do you still have the extra leaf? What are your current measurements?
From what I've read the 2.5 inch Eibach springs will help you clear 37's but there will be rubbing. Has anyone tried to add the springs along with a one inch perch? This would give 3.5 inches of lift in the front. Would this cause too much stress on the axles and ball joints because of angles? I...
I installed Eibach springs today to go with the Icon multirate leafs set on the highest setting.
Current height after filling up the tank left side front 41.75 rear 43. 75 and right side front 42 and rear 44. For what I do I need a little rake. I towed a trailer with ATV and had about 400lbs in...
I have the Icon's set at option 3 and my rear is at 44" with factory tires and wheels. It rides great. I just got my new Eibach springs and will install this weekend. If you install the rear springs on option 1, I believe your front will still be too high.
