Got it working. Pulled the stereo out. Took the circuit board out and re-flowed the soldier. It all works fine now. But I hate the new screen/graphics on the SYNC update.
2019 52K original owner. Bone stock except for the usual Baja Designs light behind the grill. No FORSCAN changes. Will search for an editorial and try pulling codes.
Chimes sound when getting in also the usual when getting out with key in pocket while running(updating was successful but didn't...
My radio won't turn on. Occasionally, it flashes on for a second then off. Turn the volume knob and nothing. Steering wheel control does nothing. Hook my phone up and you can't hear anything. Audio icon is not lit up like the rest. GPS, climate works.
I have done
soft resets
Hard reset
battery...
That is a matter of opinion. Humans shouldn't live here because of the idiot tourists. Not had a problem with the Raptor. Normally it sits in the garage but I bought the wife a new car for xmas and the Raptor sits outside until I can finish reorganizing the garage. If you spray a Teflon spray on...
I have that rattle. Dealer changed the end link on one side of the sway bar. Helped for awhile. Now with the crappy Winter roads it's really getting bad. Going to disconnect my sway bar and see if it goes away. Hope it isn't the shocks.
It dumped last night. Got 2.5 feet of snow. Last night would have been great fun to drive around in it. Blackwood Canyon would be a good idea. We have a 19 crew in Performance Blue. Wife usually drives it to work. Give a wave if you see her.
If you get to Carson City, Costco has the cheapest fuel around. $3.79 for premium $3.39 for regular. If you have to buy fuel up here the Safeway ($4.89/5.15) is usually cheapest.
With the snow hitting everything will be gated closed. Weekend is suppose to be clear. If you're here for the next...
They make a spacer that you can buy that goes on the threads of your downstream O2 sensor. By moving the sensor out of the exhaust flow it changes the reading. All the Ecu looks for is that the downstream O2 sensor doesn't match the upstream sensor. Summit Racing has aftermarket hi-flow cats for...
That's what it does. You run a Plex something or other tubing. Glycol thru a boiler. Tubing is put in 3" concrete. Then I have a layer of sand and pavers on top. Garage is heated same way on the same system. I went cheap and use manual manifolds to turn on the driveway. So, the driveway only...
I use those front bumper openings all the time. Washing and oil changes. Guess I'm headed to a 30 page useless thread about warranty denied bumper damage. lol
Got a touchless wash here that the wife drives thru once in a while. Truck fits and it does a good job. Some days even with the heated...
Right there with you Badgertits. Any all season tire cost vs performance gain isn't worth it. Only way to go is a dedicated Summer tire and a dedicated Winter tire. Even if the stock tires get you around good enough the gain in braking alone with a Winter tire is worth it. Since I'm going to get...
In Baja mode, the inside rear brake is applied to help rotate the truck. Since their already doing that it wouldn't be a stretch to change the sample rate and line pressure of the ABS in different driving modes.
To clarify, I have no complaints with the ABS. I just like to know the limits of my vehicles. Only time ABS has kicked in for me I may or may not have been driving late at night on private roads like a hooligan. The ABS on my Evo on the other hand, is very over reactive when driving with the...
Try 4H and manually downshift. This keeps the wheels locked together and allows you to use compression braking from the engine. This really helps on icy downhills. To me, it seems that ABS can kick in with just one wheel locking and you loose the braking to the other 3 wheels. I couldn't stand...
How could you possibly know this living in St Louis? lol. You must be a mountain man at heart. It's funny how so many people think you need tires to dig down to pavement to get traction. Apparently they have never seen the pavement under all that snow. Usually, it's just a layer of ice. If it's...
On our 16 F150 I programmed my wife's key to the 65mph(speed limit is 50mph around here) speed limit and limited the radio volume as a joke. She was not entertained. Didn't dare try it with her Raptor.lol.
