Got it all back together and started for the first time today. Lots of stink coming out of exhaust. I figure it’s burning some manufacturing oil from headers and Y pipe. Do these green cats smell a lot? I’m hoping once it’s ‘seasoned’, this smell will go away.

Anyone know how to drain the oil to change it? The install manual doesn’t mention about how to service the oil, only that it needs doing every 100k miles. Gonna change it while it’s off.
Got started on the install today. Took a little bit to get the supercharger off. I had forgotten how difficult a few of those bolts were to get to. I noticed oil residue at the rear of the blower near the jackshaft.

That sounds crazy that it would need bearings that quickly. Was the blower ran much with low oil level? I wouldn’t think it would be that difficult to replace bearings DIY, unless it requires some special tools that only they would have.
I’ve got 120K on it. No hard, rough or abusive driving. Owned it since new. I’ll go ahead and get some ordered. I’d probably kick myself later if I didn’t do it. I hope the driver side will be easier if I swap it between removing manifold and installing header. That’ll give me the most room...

I think those in that pic are a 1.50 base , so they’re no good noticed that after I posted. I’ve seen a few online shops with the 1.25 stud in ss, so I may look into those. Any idea how long the OEM stud is? I guess I could go buy one to measure.
Ended up ordering everything from JDM. I checked that set on eBay and it looked to be pretty old by the part number. Although I think he was wrong, he said that pipe wouldn’t fit a 2014. Now I just need to order a few misc parts that I’ll need.
