    This is going to cause some eyes to roll, but here goes. If you worked for Ford and wanted to see if any of your dealers had an inclination towards selling Raptors for non intended markets wouldn't this be a good place to throw out some bait and see if anyone bit?     If I remember right, isn't the surge override controlled by the B/U lights? if the B/U lights aren't in the 7 way it isn't going to work. I would see what terminal does what in the Expedition.

    What pirate said. It produces sufficient HP as it is. It was designed to be truck motor, so spending the money to get top level efficiency out of it wasn't a big priority. Look at it this way, would you be able to hit any harder if your sledge hammer was aerodynamic? Probably not.

    People in jobs like that tend to forget their job is to make things easier for the residents. They bitch and whine when they have to do anything & as a result, all sorts of policies & rules get made to make their job easier & things harder for the people who pay for them.

    2013 drowned

    Man that sucks. But thank god your kids weren't in there. A coworker had his motorhome do something similar. That was a total disaster, as the body floated up off the frame/floor and made a big mess, because everything (tools & whatnot) in the side compartments spilled out.

    I have found that if I really hammer it- lots of full throttle, 4,000 rpm- running up Pea Vine mountian (It's the local version of Pikes Peak) my oil life can be reduced by about 50%.     My sales guy at Ford has an eco in his F-150 and we compare mileage between my wife's 5.0 L FX-4 and his. He does a bit better in town, on the highway they are neck and neck. Not good enough for me to have to deal with twin turbos.
