I have a Diamondback HD and really enjoy it. Very well made and robust. I chose it over a traditional folding tonneau cover due to the added security it offers. It gives me peace of mind to leave certain valuables in the bed, while allowing me to strap down heavy items on top. If I had to haul...
I've got a question that hopefully someone smarter than myself can answer.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that most tuners ramp up boost (peak boost and boost throughout the power band) to achieve most of their power increases. I don't know what the average peak boost is on some of the...
I only have 4,000 miles on them, but I've been impressed with their performance so far. They're just as quiet (if not more so) than the KO2s on the street. The AT3 XLTs perform just as well as the KO2s on ranch roads at speeds of 45-60 mph. They may not be as good in sand or rocks as the KO2s...
I have AT3 XLTs on my raptor and have the G2's on my wife's Range Rover. Both sets of tires balanced well. Went with the AT3s on the Raptor because they were lighter than the G2s. Went with the G2's on the Range Rover due to the size (285/45R22).
I think a radar detector is essential. I have no experience with the Uniden, but can say I've been pretty impressed with the Valentine V1. Having the confidence to drive a little faster on the interstate helps compensate for all the damn bathroom stops we have to make.
Looks great. What offset did you order for your Innov8s? That will also affect how much rubbing you'll notice if you choose to run 37's. It looks like @Krillin increased his track width 3" per side. Looks mean, but will rub a lot more than a positive offset wheel would.
I have about 3,000 miles on them so far. I really enjoy them. They grip better than the KO2's in rain and loose gravel. Haven't tried them in mud yet... No more road noise than the KO2's either. Tires are 37 12.50 17s.
I didn't experience any change. Did you check your tire pressure? I'm pretty certain the RRW wheels are lighter than factory wheels, but not sure if that delta will affect the unsprung weight dynamics much. Maybe the live shocks need to adjust to the difference? A smarter person may need to...
Eibachs and deaver +3's. Deavers have been broken in, and have 250 lbs or so in the bed. Tires are 37 12.50R17 Cooper AT3 XLTs. Minor rubbing at full lock with some compression. Wheels are 17x8.5 +6mm.
If you decide to run a frame cut bumper, you will have to modify the resi bracket. You will most likely have to weld it to either the bumper, or another area of the frame. I don't have a close up picture of mine, but I had mine welded to my bumper.
Yeah. When I had the leaf springs taken out I realized that the original installer failed to grease any bushings. I’ve lost hope with most of the truck shops in San Antonio. Going to install them myself in the near future.
