Looking for some backup lights for my 2013 that dont ruin camera visibility. Im not running the desert or anything this is just a daily driver with a long dark driveway so use of my camera is a must.
Which lights did you go with, and do you have any night pics of how it looks on the display...
Ive tried using the GoPro for dashcam recording and did not like it, diddnt seem to really work well as a dashcam. I preferred the hardwired version (went with viofo and I now have one in each car as they werent expensive when i bought them) up on the dash that was a bit more purpose built, as...
Happens weekly. and id wager that almost all are for that reason alone.
We should just change the title to specify the gen and it would solve the isssue....if you call that an issue
Thanks for clarity, I totally agree and I bleed my brakes many times throughout pad changes albiet likely not as often as someone who drives much harder!
Edit..I too have been told I have to tact in certain situations...usually anything out in public
cheers
Not everyone cooks their fluid between brake jobs. but I get your point. thanks for the input.
As far as the last bit...I am aware of how to bleed brakes.
Not sure if your intention was to condescend but it sounds a bit that way. Either way, no offense taken thanks.
quick edit. In order to...
Brake fluid should not really ever need to be topped off, unless you are replacing a bunch of parts, or replacing all of it like for a flush... It is just a sensor to let you know that your components are wearing out (pads and rotors etc).
Not a huge deal if you do, just means that next time you...
Cool Vid, I just watched it. It assumes that the truck has codes, which mine did not.
I guess fords Pin test or whatever its called specifies changing the shift motor first before anything else to see if that is the culprit. Even without codes. which is what happened to mine.
Just got the truck back from the dealer for some warranty work. 4 low would not shift in or out intermittently.
They replaced the t-case shift motor and that seems to have fixed it.
Some sap would have paid $600 for that job at FORD, if they did not do it themselves.

I dont ever use or need warranties because I always do the work myself, but this was almost $600 (covered by warranty). sheesh. thats wild
Thanks OP and helpful contributors to this thread.
Mine is doing this as well. can confirm I am not giving it gas when shifting to drive as the dash indicates. 2013 with 65k miles, all stock never off-roaded or jumped that I know of, I have the meticulous service record since new.
Havent...
Are those 35 inch tires? if so what king? Im going to be in the market for new tires soon. Man that looks great.
Also, what are the details on that under bumper light bar and lights? I really like that.
Sure but how much for a drain and fill service was my question above.
Well I answered it above. 2 gallons will do.
I feel that it is almost more important to mention the drain and fill because that is what 98% of the people are doing most often.
5 gallons!? I am assuming you are talking about an entire engine overhaul to include all of the passages.
I just drained my truck at the radiator drain valve on the lower passenger side and also pulled off the lower radiator hose for good measure to get as much of the block as I could and it...
Id do it sooner rather than later if its been over 5 years since it was last done. Antifreeze is highly corrosive if left in too long.
it takes an hour of your time (although I always budget a bit more the first time I do something) and probably 20-30 bucks in fluid
Did a drain and fill on the coolant today. saw this post so I bought 6 gallons of 50/50 OEM fluid. https://www.fordraptorforum.com/threads/fluid-capacities.32145/
Drained the radiator and popped the lower radiator line off to try to drain as much of the block as I could. I got around 1.75...
That’s about right.
My truck SCREW had 16 all the same size in case anyone follows this to order.
I only ordered 14 and that was not enough.
I should have crawled under to check before ordering . That’s on me
Ordered all of them that you listed as working to date. Thanks again for that. Once they arrive I will get them all installed and try to get up to my local ford with the truck and find the remaining 2 and post here.
