I think I saw one post on here about a front pinion? I’ve noticed more vibration from the front in 4wd but that’s about it. Torque steer seems to be non existent but I’ve heard of that being present for some people.
My 23’s transmission is somewhat jerky when cold, especially when the ambient temp is below 40 degrees F like it is here in my part of the country. The transmission programming from Ford can be quirky, I’ve noticed this jerk happens due to the transmission shifting from 2nd gear to 1st gear when...
So actually moving the adjustable pedals in and out. The closer the pedal is to the firewall the less vibration I get from the drivetrain for what it’s worth. Interesting with the pulsing sensation, that could def be something drivetrain related/ something out of balance.
I’ve been hearing about K02 tires having issues on new Raptors due to QC at the BFGoodrich factory. Manifests itself with vibrations although your vibration’s speed range is pretty specific. Do the vibrations change if you adjust your pedals?
Is there a specific way to align these lights? As in do you want the light to be slightly angled towards the road/trail infront of you or just zero angle straight ahead and let the beam dispersement do the rest?
I have the same issue since the latest iOS update. I have to reconnect the phone multiple time to fix this. Turning WiFi on and off on the phone does the trick. It helps to have music apps closed but that doesn’t work always. Fwiw I also get a black Google maps screen frequently which is super...
My 2023 has the same thing, although not as big of an area that is being rubbed by the front bumper/fender flex. Didn’t notice it until you mentioned it so thanks for triggering my OCD! Haha but in all seriousness I’ll bring it up to my dealer when I’m in next and see what they say. I’m not even...
Just to follow up, try moving your pedals all the way ‘forward’ to the furthest position. Closest to the firewall. I’ve noticed the vibrations drop quite a bit when the pedals are as close to the firewall as they will go.
I’ve been chasing the same sound and I’m not sure what exactly it is. I lubed the rear seat latches and that didn’t do anything. I’m going to go in deep this weekend with some foam and felt tape and a six pack and see if I can’t deaden any areas where there’s contact or rubbing. Sounds like you...
I have a 23 Raptor, 6500 miles are on it. I recently noticed that when accelerating from a stop you can hear a clicking/ticking noise coming from the rear of the truck. I only hear with the windows down, especially when next to other vehicles or walls where you can hear sounds echo. Sounds like...
Oh yeah 100%. There’s no rhyme or reason to it. I know Ford has used a change in tones to signify a week battery on previous versions of Sync but my battery seems to be fine. I’m thinking it’s a software error that shows up once in awhile.
I sounds like we have the same noise. I will try to listen and mess around with things and see what happens. Does yours sound like it comes from the rear right side of the cab or truck?
Quick check, have you looked to see if any of the wires running to the shocks are damaged or disconnected/loosely connected? I’ve heard of a few raptors having this behavior due to this.
They apparently took the door apart and lubed and tightened things but it still rattles once in awhile. It’s always after I’ve been parked in the summer heat for hours. Always around the lock tab area. If I put some pressure against that area like pressing against it, the sound will go away...
Awesome, thanks! I’ve done it on a gen 2 but the gen 3 looks completely different under there. Then again I was trying to do this outside at night during a rainstorm. I’ll get under there in the garage later today.
Has anyone figured out how to adjust the exhaust tips on the Gen 3’s? Mine are slightly off and I want to see if I can do this at home versus bringing it in to the dealer. Thanks in advance!
Yeah I totally agree, those photos are bad. After going down a rabbit hole trying to capture this with different angles and light, I think I got it. It’s almost like a raised nub in the paint. About the size of a pencil tip.
Hey everyone. Just wanted to see if anyone has dealt with debris/dust under their factory paint? Found a spot on my passenger rear left door. Not sure how I missed it after 3 months of ownership, guess my eyes aren’t what they used to be. Anyone deal with something like this? I was just going to...
