I have a 23 Raptor, 6500 miles are on it. I recently noticed that when accelerating from a stop you can hear a clicking/ticking noise coming from the rear of the truck. I only hear with the windows down, especially when next to other vehicles or walls where you can hear sounds echo. Sounds like this clicking is coming from the rear axle or driveshaft. You can hear a series of clicks when accelerating from a stop. I thought it was rocks at first but it’s definitely mechanical. You can also hear the clicking noise when shifting from park to drive or drive to reverse. All coming from the rear end. Any one else have this or know what this could be? Thanks.

Hello! I have a 2022 F150 XLT with the same exact noise as you describe under the same exact conditions. Did you ever get it resolved?

Not poking fun but guessing you drew the short straw to hop on this forum seeking answers. Anywho, hope you guys get this all ironed out sooner rather than later. Also, try doing a search for relatable threads. GL :waytogo:

Not sure why I didn’t get any notifications! Anyways, the sound went away on its own after about 7k miles. At 13k currently and the noise has subsided. Ive have had a couple tire rotations since then and a significant change in weather/season. From what I’ve looked up, the center caps of the wheels can make a rattle when not full seated. So can the lugs when not tightened to spec. Also the debris/rock guard around the exhaust valve can rattle when beginning to accelerate. Hope this helps.
