The Builtright rack broke. Pic #1 is the day I mounted. The rest are after 3 off road runs. I took it off and welded it. I am going to mount on the same rack, but straight up and down with the base on the bed to take the weight off

Had mine mounted at a 45 like yours on the Builtright rack and almost ripped it right off the rack off roading. I just finished re-welding it and painting it this weekend. I highly suggest you mount it straight up and down with the base sitting on the bed, or getting the bed mount that lays it...

I know your bummed. But you sound like you got a pretty decent deal at 50k for low miles. Its under warranty so in a sense your going to get a rebuilt trans and prob the cam phasers fixed right out of the gate. Just try and look at it like you just ordered it and your waiting for it to come...

You can lower it with those mounts and longer arms. I like it in front of the radio not up on top of the dash as well

Did you use RAM mounts, if so take some pics of the mounting system without the I-pad on it
