I saw a post about the mount on here few days ago and decided to give it a try. The install video on Builtright Industries page is spot on. The thing I did different was leave my rubber mat and drill through it. I also purchased the Mob Armour magnetic iPad mount and it works well.

That’s why it’s mostly for off road. I’m willing to take my chances on major highways though. That’s the great part about it being magnetic, you just grab it.Nice but I'm pretty sure you'd get a ticket for blocking your windshield here in CA.
The mount supports the ram mounts but I don’t need any at the moment. The iPad holder is magnetic and sits on there nice and firm.Did you use RAM mounts, if so take some pics of the mounting system without the I-pad on it
You can lower it with those mounts and longer arms. I like it in front of the radio not up on top of the dash as wellblind spot from hell....no thanks
