Spent 2 hours rolling around under my 2019 Raptor truck this morning trying to find a clean way of running wire from Baja Designs S1 backup lights that I currently have tapped into passenger side rear tail light. I got the harness that also allows you to run them off one of the upfitter...
After looking at your Deutsch connection I decided to go with the 6 pin Deutsch connector vs Weather Pack.
Found a 6 pin Deutsch connector with 8.5" pin tails on Amazon for about $17

I'll solder the ends on the female side...
Yes, I run the S2's pros at night as driving lights and don't have any problems with people flashing their brights at me. I do have the S2s aimed down where the hit the road about 3 truck lengths out but that still gives plenty of light to fill in the black hole up close you have with the Gen...
I actually just ordered some Weatherpack single pin plugs and a Weatherpack crimper tool. Soon as I get the stuff in I plan on re-doing the connections so I can unplug them.
Not that I have been able to tell. I have mine angled down so that they hit the road about a truck length behind me so that I don't light up the neighbors house like a mothership landing when i back out my driveway. I plan to angle them out a little to get a wider spread of light. One thing i...
Amber is for fog, snow, or heavy rain. Driving combo lens is 1/2 spot and 1/2 wide cornering.
The 1/2 spot will not project very far thru fog, snow, or heavy rain, even with amber, so I think I would have less glare (the whole point of amber) and more light up close with the wide cornering...

The 3-wires in the new harness are labeled A, B, and C all ends. Makes it really easy to keep the wires straight.
The one place I ran into a problem. For some reason Ford used extremely small wires about to tap for the lights. This makes it hard to squeeze them tight in the barrel...

The next 4 pics show how I secured the end of the wire. I popped a small hole through the plastic battery tray and used to secure the end of the wire with a wire-tie. Probably wasn't really needed because the doubled up wire couldn't have moved much with one end bolted to the ground...

Here you can see the wire coming up next to the battery from under the truck
I wire tied the cable to the factory harness
And then ran it along side the left of the battery. Here I doubled the cable a few times to take up the slack and wire tied the bundle. Just leaving the...
This pic shows the wire coming out from the drivers side to the passenger side at the front of the skid plate. The new wiring harness was a lot less bulky than the harness that came with the kit and the new harness seemed to be cut to length for the Raptor. Used a 5' wooden dowel, taped the...
After seeing the Fog Pocket Kit on 4x4TruckLeds.com Raptor I decided to do something similar with my 2019 Raptor.
I had purchased a Baja Designs Unlimited kit about 6 months ago that comes with (2) S2 Pros in wide cornering , (2) Squadron Pro's in driving combo, and (2) Squadron Racer Editions...
2019 Raptor since last Feb. Daily driver with 8K miles on it. Love it 99% of the time. Rides more like a luxury car than a truck on the highway. It takes a big pothole to even feel with the suspension on it. Feels stuck to the road like a sports car compared to my old 2011 F150 FX4
The...
I have the Baja Designs Unlimited fog light kit that comes with white S2 Pros in wide cornering, white Squad Pros in driving combo. and white Squad Racer spots. The S2 Pros are one switch and the Squad Pros and Squad Racers are on a 2nd switch.
The Squad Pro driving combo and Squad Racers...
Excellent. My unlimited kit has:
(2) Squadron Racer Editions in Spot
(2) Squadron Pros in Driving Combo
(2) S2 Pros in wide Cornering
I can just put amber lens on my Squadron pro combos, and order your 3-light harness and have the setup I want.
The holes under your headlights need a Baja Designs Unlimited Fog Light. I love mine. Aim the S2 Pros down a little and you can use them driving lights. The S2's take care of the problem of the Raptor not having driving lights and you'll be amazed how much better you see up close at night...
Baja's site specs for the S1's show them putting out 2,375 lumens and drawing 1.45A.
The S2 Sports in the Baja Designs reverse kit are rated at 1,130 lumens and draw .9A
And now for the extension to the engine bay aux switch out... I think I'm going to wait for it to warm up a little for that run. Will post more pics then.
Here's the lights mounted... You can see the plugs dangling from the lights in this pic. I had not plugged them in yet when this pic was taken.
Once I had tapped into the factory backup light on the passenger side, I checked and made sure they were coming on when I put the truck in reverse...

Here's a diagram I found for the tail-light plug. The kit comes with a clip on tap to attach to wire for reverse light. The wire you want to put the clip on is the wire going to pin 4. This diagram shows the plug-end.
The wire going to pin 4 looks solid green in the pic but it...
Here's some pics from my S1 reverse lights install today that I just got from Offroad Alliance...
The S1 mounts attach in factory holes. No drilling required.
Threaded clips come with kit that you slip over factory holes. No nut needed on the back of the bolts that go in these. I used use...
Couple questions...
1. The pocket light's, what lights are you running in those? I've got the Unlimited kit on mine but the inside pocket lights on your truck are amber. How do you have these switched? Outside S2's on one switch and the both the white and amber squad's on another?
2. You...
