Some tires need more balancing as they wear down than other tires. I always tell the dealer to skip the rotation and have Discount Tire do it. They balance and reset the TPMS so the tire is in the correct location on the display. In the 15-20 mins it takes them, well worth not doing it myself...
Yeah...they claim it's for "environmental safety". I mean...did you see the types of people pumping gas? haha They probably go through some 20 min online training course for "certification". It's not rocket science.
I don't know...we can't pump our own gas in Oregon. Haha. In all seriousness, it just really depends on the pump design. Some have those stupid pressure sensors to ensure the nozzle is in all the way. Most pumps allow people to set and forget.
For what it's worth...I hate not being able to...
I disagree. I hated the Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I went back to the Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs, which I'd been running for the last 8 years on other trucks and back to being happy again. The Duratracs perform way better in the wet terrain types (rain, snow, mud) we have in the pacific NW.
This is spot on. I used to treat the rubber seals on a convertible I owned in the past and it makes a huge difference. I believe a lot of the "popping" problems with our sunroofs occur because the rubber seals fuse together.
I plug my phone in, but lay it in the thin cubby hole next to the shifter. That leaves the entire Sync cubby for other stuff. Mine never gets closed and the excess wire just coils inside the bottom of the cubby. It's also more convenient for me....seems like there are some things that are...
It's preference really. I prefer the squishier sidewalls of the 17s and the way they look. Had 20s on the truck when I bought it and hated the ride. They bounced around over every pothole where the 17s feel more like a Cadillac. Plus...never hurts to shed un-sprung weight.
I mostly drive in county on unlit highways. I would rate them right in the middle as far as performance. Better than old school bulbs, but not as good as higher end projectors. That said, they work just fine for me and I have no intention of trying to improve them with the exception of...
Anyone got this solved yet? I had the dealership update my Sync and it's still not right. It worked fine in my loaner car from the dealership, so it's definitely something related to the Sync in the Raptor. I even tried deleting Waze from my phone and setting it up again.
I think there may be a way in the advanced settings. I'll have to look when I get my truck back from Ford later today. I usually on the pop-up when I shut off the truck. I want it active more often than not.
I like the speed sign on the display because I can look over to see the speed limit when I can't remember the last sign I saw. Speed limits are pretty low in Oregon....usually 55 mph, so you can end up speeding pretty quickly if not paying attention.
Yep, mine too! I figured it was just a bug from the latest update. Hoping they fix it soon, my OCD can't take it much longer! ha! Not nearly as bad as the bug years ago when Waze would dump my phone battery though.
Don't know if you meant it for me or the OP, but mine are the Weathertechs. I love them. I don't have any problem with the window auto up. It does take a few days for the weather stripping to break in though. You will have to assist it during installation. They have you put it up and down a...
