Raptor Emblem on door panels. Opinions please

As others have said, less is more. I constantly get compliments from people on how "clean looking" my truck is.

    S1 Flush Mounts?

FYI - I got tired of waiting for a response here and contacted BD directly. Here was the response: JD Frankovich <[email protected]> 8:41 AM (4 minutes ago) to me Good morning yes we are coming out with a flush mount for the S1s it will be available closer to next year. If you are in...

Pics from todays S1 Reverse Lights install on 2019 Raptor

I'm waiting for the flush mount bezel to be released so I can put them in the bumper. Baja Designs has been silent on this forum and Tacoma World about the timing, so my guess is it's in development and they cant share the date.

Pics from todays S1 Reverse Lights install on 2019 Raptor

The S1s put out more lumens than the S2 Sport, but slightly less than the S2 Pro.

    Ford Pass app

What he said. And the only way for them to remove the notification is by completing the work. So if you don't have the problem, it will never go away.

    S1 Flush Mounts?

Any news about S1 flush mounts being developed? I'm hoping/waiting for them for reverse lights.

    Winter/Snow Tires

I agree with his balancing statement, they are known for it. Just make sure your tire company checks the balance every 5,000 miles when you get them rotated. I've been through many sets of Duratracs and never had an issue.

    Winter/Snow Tires

I've have the Duratracs as well and love them. There can be a big advantage with studs on heavy ice. Duratracs are studable too.

    I can’t stop staring!

Bleck...personally I think the Shelby looks awful. To each their own I suppose, but you won't get any drooling from me when one drives by.

Will a Raptor work for me?

I leave mine at the airport all of the time and don't stress at all. Park in the center of the spot, fold in the mirrors and let the running boards do their job. I'm proud when I get a new kill stripe on mine! haha

    Single Tire Replacement

What he said! AWDs are really picky about tread depth. Always keep a warranty for tire replacement/buy back on vehicles with AWD.

    Single Tire Replacement

48K miles seems really high on any tire unless it's some highway radial (which I hope you don't have on a Raptor). I replace mine every two years right before winter. I typically have around 32-36k miles on them. I like the extra tread depth for snow and channeling rain.

    GEN 2 Best IPhone holder?

RAM mounts and X-Grip are the way to go.

    FORDPASS TIRE PRESSURE

I see the benefit. The ability to know I need to adjust air before getting in the truck. No sense in adjusting air pressure if you have already driven the truck and warmed up the tires.

GEN 2 Steering wheel heating on remote start, despite settings

It will only come on automatically if you have it turned on under advanced settings in the dash to use automatic climate control. This is the same for the heated/cooled seats and rear window/mirror defrost.

    Feedback on Goodyear Duratrac Tires

Sorry to disagree. I've replaced the KO2s on three different trucks now with Duratracs because I hated the KO2s so much. Don't perform as well in the rain and snow in my opinion.

    Feedback on Goodyear Duratrac Tires

What he said. I've been running them for years and are my preferred tire.

    Nitto Trail Grapplers for Street?

I bought my truck with the Nitto Ridge Grapplers on it and didn't like them. They didn't channel water worth a shit in the heavy NW rain. I went back to my tried and true Wrangler Duratracs and couldn't be happier. They work very well in the snow, ice and rain, usually receiving higher...

    Truck Runs Horrible When Cold

^^^^This! Taking it easy while it warms up is way better on the engine than idling for a warm up. I used to own a car in the past that had a rev limiter kick in until the engine was sufficiently warm.

Apple CarPlay seems to override Sync3

It's intended to override Sync. An update to Carplay is coming out this fall which will have the split screen for nav and audio. The only thing I don't like about using Carplay is the lack of outside temperature on the display as you noted. I wish Ford had worked it into the main display like...

Mine are turned off. I don't like them on curvy roads, which is a majority of my driving that requires the high beams.

    Dash Rattle

Is it more of a harmonic vibration in the whole dash? I was getting that under low acceleration and it went away once my cam phasers were fixed. Cam phaser problem started out as an intermittent clatter on cold start. Then became every cold start with engine ticking. Then it added the dash...

    Cam Phaser Fix

I had the cam phaser fix at 20K miles on my 2018. It began with the clatter at start intermittently. Then it went to every start along with a ticking engine. Towards the end I was even getting a harmonic vibration in my dash under low acceleration. It took roughly 2 days once the parts were...
