Folks,
I am assuming that the behavior of Sync3 / Apple CarPlay is the same for everyone ... but in case I am missing something. For me, when I plug in my iPhone and enable CarPlay it basically takes over the display. In other words, I get the App display and can use them etc ... The bummer is that you lose things like the outside temperature or the ability to have a split display. I am assuming this is the norm .. but a bummer IMHO.
I've also had some issues with Apple CarPlay periodically disconnecting itself and dropping calls. This doesn't appear to be an issue when not using CarPlay (no drops/disconnects). Anyone else seeing the same thing?
I love my Raptor, but Sync3 seems marginally better than it's predecessors (which was the only real disappointment I have in my 2013 FX4).
Thanks,
Dave
