GEN 2 COBB Accessport - Tuned by GooseTuned

Yep. @GooseTuned can chime in, but I believe the E85 Map can tolerate as low as e60, since a winter blend of E85 may be lower.

GEN 2 COBB Accessport - Tuned by GooseTuned

I was doing it monthly and made sure to get e85 at the same station. I got tired of the mixing and put the XDI HPFP on and it’s much nicer not having to mix anymore and I get e85 wherever.

    Geiser and deaver combo issues

I know the sound you are hearing. I put Deaver +3 SD on my 2017 after shock rebuild/exchange and I hear/feel the exact same clunk. I only notice from accelerating from a stop, because I never notice it when shifting gears of normal driving, which would lead me more towards ujoints. I...

    No good deed goes unpunished

TSW. I imagine they wouldn’t be able to tell until they breakdown the shock. I only had 30 day warranty so I appreciate them sending me another“new” rebuilt shock. I wish it wasn’t going to take a few weeks. I may just buy new Fox 3.0’s and put on next week, and then sell the rebuilt since...

    No good deed goes unpunished

My shocks were do for rebuilding so I did the shock exchange program with all the typical upgraded goodies and at the same time I added Deaver +3's and Eibachs. I completed this project 3 months ago (~6,000 miles). I walk out to the truck this morning and find this (see pics). I have an...

GEN 2 Most efficient and effective way to get the 500 horses?

Agree with everyone else. For the numbers you seek you need: COBB stage 2 pack ($2k) - you get AP, Upgraded IC, CAI. Then you need e50 vs upgraded HPFP to run e85 + plus the cost of custom tunes for 91/93 and e50/e85 for the HPFP. I run e85 all the time now and it's beyond delicious without...

    2017 Gen 2 trade for 2017 gen 2

Yes, it's stupid. You are trading one truck that you know everything about for an "identical" truck you know nothing about other than 30,000 less miles and blue. Just put a wrap on your truck and keep driving it + get it Goosetuned, both of these together will be cheaper than "upgrading" colors.

    Anyone installed the Roush Powerpack?

Exactly this! Goosetuned all the way. @GooseTuned will give you exactly what you want and improve all facets of a daily driver, transmission shifting points, overall smoothness between shifts, and as much HP/TQ you want to play with (91, 93, e50, or e85). My only warning is once you start...

GEN 2 COBB Accessport - Tuned by GooseTuned

Completely agree. I run e50 during the summer months and the truck is so much better. Just gotta get moved and settled so I can just buy the HPFP and not deal with mixing anymore. Anyone here run e85 in the winter months too?

    What is this?

Still trying to solve this and wondering if anyone else has any insight. It was not the mass damper as I thought/hoping. I sprayed it real well and it's quiet. I believe it's the driver's rear shock (I did shock exchange) same time I added Deaver's. When I removed the shock I could not...

Decided to remove my tune...risk vs reward just didn't make sense....some observations

This.... I had the Livernois tune first. I thought it added something, but I didn't realize how little it was until I got Goosed with TCM+. Going from E50 or even 91 tune to stock is torture. It feels like these trucks can barely get out of there own way unless stomping on the pedal or...

    IWE WTF FYI

I just went through all of this myself as I have been in four times for IWE "grinding". 1st time was check valve, 2nd time I replaced the check valve myself, 3rd time dealership replaced all IWE components (check valve, solenoids, actuators, and hubs) under original TSB. I went in the 4th time...

ADD Pro vs. SVC Baja Bolt On Comparison

I did mine for a few reasons. 1. Better ability/options for lighting, as I am constantly dodging deer at dusk/dawn and night. I had the lights in the same position as your with OEM bumper but the projection of the light was partially blocked. 2. Looks much cleaner vs the OEM bumper. 3...

    What is this?

I had Deavers put on and could hear this “clunking” when going slow over bumps that sounded like it was coming from the box, but I chased it down to this and it appears loose. I have no idea what it is or it’s purpose. See photo...

    An Oil Change Solution?

yep. I just put a funnel under the drain that directs all the oil to my collection receptacle. No mess, no fuss.

    Deaver/eibach combo ?

I completed my shock exchange with TSW and added Eibachs and Deaver +3 SD to the rear with icon bump stops. 2017 Supercab sits 1/2” lower in the front. Hard to tell via eyeball. Rides great this far.

Noise is always with deceleration, never acceleration and always in 2wd. Supposedly the pinpoint test was normal, but I got nothing in writing.

They think the intermittent grinding is coming from the Torsen differential itself. They performed the above workflow provided by @FordTechOne Has anyone else have, had, or heard of issues with the Torsen itself. I run stock size 35” BF KO’s and front lifted 1.5” with RPG collar.

Do you have the workflow diagnostic handy? I will print and take to them and say please follow this workflow order an fix appropriately. You can PM if easier. Thanks @FordTechOne

Well. Ford said put the IWE back together, which they did. They checked vacuum and was apparently normal. I drive home and there is lots of iwe grinding again. I’m half tempted to buy the RPG actuators.
