So there's "one" that ran 12.5 on E50 and you then generalize Raptors as 12.5-13s 6000 pound trucks. Okay. Raptors are not fast. Not stock, not tuned, not at all.
Car & Driver pegged the Gen3 on 35s at 5.2 to 60, 13.9 @ 98 in the quarter. Where did you dream up 12.5s 1/4 miles for Raptors? I don't think you're getting there on stock turbos. Hell, they got 12.2 out of the TRX.
Never quite understood guys with giant trucks that think they are somehow fast. I can tell they've never really had any exposure to actual fast cars. In other words, a guy that owns a 911 Turbo along with his Raptor would never generate this thread.
Godzilla dry weight is 538, 3.5 Ecoboost is 450. Factor in the intercooler for the 3.5 (which would not be included in that 'dry' weight and the difference probably shrinks to less than 65 pounds. Insignificant.
The difference is doubtless less than adding the big moonroof or the 2kW Power...
I all but promise you that your dealer has no allocation for a 37 Perf. Pack for MY22. Ask the sales manager the question directly.
Also, at 6'5" and 260 lbs, I would say forego the Recaros and stick with the regular seats.
Just noticed this morning. Takes a bit of extra clicking because Ford apparently outsources web development to chimpanzees.
Edit: I'm sure it's old news to you guys that have been poring over the Order Guide but I'm more of a casual Raptor fan but...very disappointed that despite being freed...
Gsteve probably bought at MSRP and this is all a pretext for how he, despite "loving the truck" and it is a "dream come true", he just must move on and sell it. Oh, and since the market is what it is, he will accept no less than $15,000 over MSRP for his troubles. IT would be horrible if a...
Good news is you can have that polished out. That material is very prone to scratching and generally just a PITA. If you plan to keep the truck for the long haul, just get it buffed and have someone apply paint protection film (PPF) to all of those areas.
Your dealer is 90% full of crap. You don't need blue interior to get 37s for 2022 as per the order guide. Your dealer seems to be giving you the "hot scoop' on commodity constraints from the 2021s wherein some part of the 37 pack was constrained (be it the ugly blue seats, the 37" tires, the...
I love how Ford spends 5 years and millions of dollars developing a coil sprung rear suspension for their top of the line, high speed off-road truck and people just go and *** around with the suspension like they have any idea what they are doing.
Agree with BoostCreep. The rest of that argument is then that the trucks are also getting toward the limit of what will work on the street/daily use as far as suspension setups go. I'm all about getting out in nature and having fun but eventually you come to the realization that you're just...
I also agree that it is not a foregone conclusion that the title of "Best Off-road Pickup" goes to the TRX by default. I'd have to spend some quality time in the boonies with the Ram and a Gen3 Raptor to make that decision. I've never really encountered an obstacle off-road in a 400+hp vehicle...
Makes sense. Their little spec page is a little misleading. I just says "770 pounds strong"
I assume this significantly heavier than a typical fiberglass cap but the idea of being able to sit up on top of it is kinda cool. And the ability to attach racks and accessories to it would be...
Ford's marketing and web design are complete jokes. Customers are literally driving 2022 Raptors but you can't spec one on the internet for delivery in, say, October 2022. I have lost complete confidence in Ford after the Bronco debacle and now this Raptor bullshite. Can't wait for all the...
That is straight trash on a $35,000 fake luxury car. I understand that the Raptor is not a Lear jet but for God's sake, that is some garbage in a $75,000 truck.
