The Roush CAI added a nice deep tone at the intake.

I’ve got great results with Whipple. They are very close to Ford Engineering. Latest tunes include the transmission updates. Runs up to 93octane and no messing with special tow maps. Performance gain is, from numbers I have seen from Cobb, very similar. It’s been good for me, but by all means...
I’ve been a slacker and have not yet installed the mid with resonators. (Kooks).
So far (see sig) I like the sound and the feedback from others is good too. Definitely louder on WOT than stock. As soon as I have it installed I’ll post my opinion. (Huge disclaimer there).
I’m realistic it...
I have noticed the same. To me it seems a bug. You’re right, brightness stays too high unless you hit the up/down on the brightness buttons. Then it sets to what it should be. It does it on the default Ford interface but also on Apple CarPlay.
I hope Ford knows and will fix it in an upcoming...
If I’m correct the Raptor engine is rated for e15. A bit of ethanol is ok while e85 is not...

About Whipple: Agree. And it seems that the Cobb vs Whipple Is pretty similar in terms of HP / torque gains.
For both folks need to remember that there are many states that doesn’t have 93oct available.
I like that Cobb makes it easier in case you want to go back to stock (stock file included...
Great. Tnx. No cutting! Somewhere I remembered to have read it required cutting the original exhaust (back part). I think it was in the site where I bought it. Glad that is not the case!

My missing pieces are arriving Tuesday.
How long did it take you to do this operation? Did you do it from the ground or do you have a bridge? (I have not). Do I read it correct you dropped the entire exhaust? How hard was it to figure out to determine where the cuts needed to be made.
I’m...
Wipers work fine for me. (Oregon... so I know about rain). One thing to do every now and then though is to reset, or better said, recalibrate the system by turning the knob to the off position and then back on. I have it set to the lowest sensitivity.

Initial response from AT is that my party’s are fine. I question that as you and I had same part numbers. Asked for another confirmation and referred your details.

Did you by any chance buy at American Truck. I did and had a great deal on Black Friday. Agree... assuming it will fit as their sites says for the SCrew.

Unfortunately I don’t have either. Nor does the Kooks website. I was hoping it was going to be straight forward but guess it might not be. Unfortunately and kind of unexpected of a premium brand like Kooks.

Just looking at the picture. Could you make it fit with turning that rubber bracket around 180degrees? I do know it requires to cut the OEM exchaust to line up with the Kooks mid section. Is that done to get the rubber out of the way of the connection?

Any tune causes Ford no longer able to identify needed software upgrades. This is not Whipple specific.
Whipple indeed doesn’t proactively include the standard tune (even when I asked).
That said, I tuned and don’t worry about it when taking it in for service. Don’t ask/don’t tell (the...
Very happy with the Whipple. Ultimately decided for them. While being maybe a bit less aggressive (as in gained HP), I have some comfort in the fact that if Ford auctions special vehicles (F22 Raptor) they use Whipple. Word is that Whipple has direct access to Ford engineers.
True or not, I...
Similar arguments for Whipple. Testing, reliability, direct connection with Ford etc.
How is Cobb better / different?
