Ah the 900 must be newer. Looks like your difference is 4K at 30fps for the 900 or 1080 at 60fps for the 750. Personally I’d stick with the 750 for double the frame rate.
My big thing with dash cams is protecting me from insurance. Unless you get a dozen guns stolen from your truck from a break...
Get the MicroSD card separately. If you don’t know much about photography and cards the quality can range substantially. I wouldn’t go with anything other than SanDisk, Lexar, or Sony. Prices range so much for different read/write speeds. Depending on which one you get and what quality you...
Install is pretty simple. I tapped into an always on circuit under the passenger dash for the black box. Comes with all the wires you need. You may want to upgrade the MicroSD card though. I have a 128gb higher end Sandisk in mine.
One other super nice feature I forgot to mention is the fine...
Blackvue 750S 2 Channel. It's not full 360 but has a very wide front and rear. I've had the 2 channel blackvues on my trucks/cars for about 8 years now. Since I've lived in Florida I've been rear ended 4 times while stopped completely and hit 2 times while the car was parked, also got out of a...
Krazy House Customs bed supports are in. Went with these because the decked drawers clear over them. I think the only other supports that would clear is the BajaMod but that’s been out of stock for forever.
Ah that’s good news with the magnets. So it sounds like the real QC I need to do is just to make sure all the pillars and the aux panel look/feel flush/secure, and I should be good to go. Thanks for the quick reply!
So I had a very minor leak coming from the moonroof the other day right near the aux switches. After a heavy rain for a few hours maybe only a couple tablespoons of water got in. Dealership just informed me that the drains were clogged which caused the leak. For those who don’t know, a tiny bit...
Maybe some people just don’t want to drill into their inlet tube. The JLT can still catches some contaminants. Not as much as a UPR dual valve but it’s still doing it’s job.
@richnot Didn’t catch all the issues until I started doing more digging after ordering the second time.
I went with the JLT. No drilling required is a huge plus. In case any dealer ever complains about it for a warranty issue it can be removed with no signs of it being there in a few minutes.
Front runner rack is in with most accessories already mounted. This system is awesome! I did a setup that I haven’t seen anywhere on here using the load bed tracks on the inside wall of the bed rails. Why? I love the decked drawers and the ability to still have a flat bed surface even loaded up...
Lol, ah the debate. I ordered the JLT for the simplicity. At least with JLT never throwing codes it's one of those "can't really hurt" kind of situations. Mishimoto though, the headache I've seen in that thread I linked to scared me away even without the terrible customer service.
PSA: I would advise anyone considering buying Mishimoto's catch can stays the hell away.
First off, their Gen 2 dual catch can clearly isn't designed properly. Just check out this thread of countless FRF members having issues. There's enough light reading in there to see the constant problems...
Because of this thread I had ended up cancelling my order over the phone due to:
A) All the problems they don't seem to be able to figure out how to fix.
B) Mishimoto's really shitty communication about back orders.
They charged my credit anyways and shipped out a catch can, so now I have to...
I just put the disconnect terminals on mine but would love something cleaner like this, it looks great!!
Any chance you’d spit out another one of those plates for a fee? I’ll throw in some custom aux switch stickers for ya. ;)
I went with @Specialtyperformanceparts mounts with the outside two as Rigid Radiance Scene and the one inner as standard Rigid Radiance. While I don’t believe the standards are true SAE I use these for true fog lights when needed on aux 3. Then the four scene pods are on aux 2. So far I’ve...
Hey Guys,
Getting ready to pull the trigger on Icon leaf springs with their bump stock spacer kit and RPG adjustable perch collars up front. Debating between going with Option 2 or 3. I have decked drawers in the back which are usually loaded up with some work stuff, and just got my front...
No kidding. My last Yamaha R1 had an accessory wire they leave up front for you near the gauge cluster. It had a Deutsch style connector and they just had the blank other end of it connected and taped off. Genius concept lol
I did something similar when I first put my fogs in. I just used normal clam connectors and heat shrunk around them since I already had a bunch laying around. A little electrical tape could be used for extra precaution when you connect the male/female ends and you’ll have a weathertight seal...
