Man I love how the gen 2’s ride and the shifting feels way smoother. Didn’t think I’d be that impressed but I was. The sound of the 6.2 is going to be missed for sure though.
I test drove this truck last night. I loved it. My main problems are the color, never liked black, and the shitty sound system. No sub woofer isn’t that big of a deal but I need to research if the gen 2’s are pre wired for the OEM sub like the gen 1’s.
They said they might do 45k. Think I might...
I’m selling my 2013 silver super cab with 65k miles as of today. Completely stock,
Just replaced the front rotors and pads, axles, hubs, tie rods, vacuum lines. Tires have about 50% life life maybe more. They’re Falken Wildpeak AT3’s.
I replaced the rear shocks 6 months ago with brand new...
Haha, appreciate the heads up. Unfortunately, my job requires me to need a truck so as much as I'd like to buy something sporty, it's not the right time for me just yet.
I've contacted 3 dealers near me. One is a 2020 raptor supercab, base model for 58k. I offered them 50k and they said no...
Any reason to avoid this truck? Anything specific I should keep my eye out for? I'm going in today after work to check it out. I've loved my get 1 for the past 18 months but the prices on the gen 2's are tempting now.

They do not allow hard lines in the vacuum system. They need to be flexible apparently. That's what a shop manager told me when I ran the copper line idea by him yesterday.
After all my nonsense, I discovered yesterday that California will not allow you to run hard lines for any part of the vacuum system and you WILL FAIL SMOG if you do so. Pretty lame and makes no sense to me.
So I'm going to look into Forged Offroads silicone upgraded hoses or build my own with...
thanks for the more serious reply, much appreciated. My main confusion at this point was how OP connected the copper lines to the barbs on the hub itself. I spent some more time searching through some hotrod forums and came to the conclusion that it would be beneficial to use copper and silicone...
How is telling us to print out the OP and that it “should be pretty obvious” helping us? Have you even looked at the vacuum lines
How is asking for pics being a lazy ass? Also, why you white knighting for the condescending prick? All me and other dude wanted was some pics to guide us through...
Thanks brother. I will be giving them a call this week. Want to have the plugs and wires changed on mine as well. How much did they charge you so I know what to expect?
Did anyone save the photos that were in the OP? I have this issue and would love to go a hardlined route over the stock rubber which will wear out over time
I’m only sad I got my hopes up for a few more MPG hehe
I REALLY don’t care about the MPG, I’ve always viewed it as you gotta pay to play. I had an evo 9 back in the day that got 12 mpg like this truck so I’m use to it.
Bump. I’m having the same issue. Doors swing wide open and don’t catch at the same point most other vehicles do. This is one of the biggest issues i have with this truck.
The doors swing out with enough speed to dent/scratch my car or someone else’s.
Poorly designed mechanism by Ford.
Anyone...
So I got lucky and found a pair of brand new rear OEM Fox shocks on eBay for $750. I figured my rear shocks were complete shot from how terrible the ride was. Installed the rears tonight after work and took it for a test drive.
More than satisfied to say the least. It’s a completely different...
Thank you and the last guy for the honest responses. My 2013 raptor needs 4 new shocks and struts and I don’t need much more than stock performance for my usage so I hooped on here to find out my options.
I talked to FO on the phone (don’t remember who) about 2-3 weeks ago and asked if 30 days...
