Got it, thanks. I'm going to order some mevotechs and replace mine this week. Dealer wants to charge me $1100 and another local shop priced it similarly which is too much for me.
Ford dealer here in SoCal quoted me 580.
My local shop I've taken all my cars to since I've moved here (same manager for the past 7 years too) is going to charge me $328. I think I'm going to get it done. Motorcraft plugs in case anyone is wondering.
Did you check the fluid levels or change the fluid? Mine was making a loud whine a few months back also I checked the levels and it was low. Added some plus some Lucas oil and it cleared it up.
Didn’t want to make a new thread so I’m bumping one of the more recent threads on this topic
I have a 2013 SCAB. 67k miles. 3 days ago my power steering pump started to make a lot more noise than it ever has. I checked the reservoir and it was low and black so I added some full synthetic ATF...
I’m down. I have a 4 ton floor jack, jack stands, dewalt impact gun, sockets etc and a 2 car driveway to work in.
I replaced the rear shocks myself 9 months ago.
I need my truck for work so I had to have a shop handle some stuff because they could do it faster but I agree with your mindset in...
I have. Fyel definitely took care of me. Replaced axles, tie rods, vacuum lines, front pads/rotors and the vacuum hubs on my 2013 raptor.
They also dropped me off at my work 2 times during the few days they worked on it. Seemed to charge a fair price for all the work. Worked quickly as well...
I want a gen 2 after test driving one. The interior feels more comfortable and updated.
After reading more and talking to the guys at RPG and SVC, I think I might actually keep it. Still mulling over some things.
4 out of the first 5 threads in https://www.fordraptorforum.com/forums/ford-raptor-problems-and-questions-forum.39/ are Gen 2 related. I can keep digging but the gen 2's, do have their own issues.
I'd rather bump old threads than make new ones for those of us that have the same or similar issues
Were they able to diagnose specifically what the problem was? Was it both the camera AND harness or they don't know and replaced both to be done with it?
Hey it’s better than nothing that’s for sure. I’m sure it’ll help more than a few people out (myself included). Maybe at least give a few people who were on the fence that little push to try it themselves.
Best deal I think I've found is a garage kept, 2017, white SuperCab with 7200 miles, 802a, tonneau cover for $48,000. It's a 6 hour drive from me. Tickets to the nearest airport are $99.
It's super clean. Wasn't his primary vehicle hence the low miles. White has been my favorite color next to...
For sure. I will film the entire thing. I know there's a how to already but the more vids/pics we have on here the better off everyone will be.
I did just post my truck for sale but after a discussion just now with the guys at RPG Offroad, I might be buying their stage 3 kit and keeping the...
