That is one of the QC issues I have with my truck. Mine is actually a little off kilter. So one corner at the top sticks out more than the other. I have a car seat in mine...and will for a long time now...so it doesn't really bother me.
It was a deal breaker for me. I would not have gotten my Raptor without it. Its just way more convenient to have the option. I have read on here some complaints about dragging things out of the bed and catching on the cover when its stowed and ripping it off. So just be aware of that. I dont...
I have some plastic wrap/protection that should have been removed at the factory on my lower dash/center consol. Tried to take it off but the panel needs to be removed to really get it off. Really annoying.
It might be eggshell. Probably close to Satin. I just remember watching a video on someone who repainted their wheel arch and used satin and said it was almost a perfect match. I have not done this personally.
Cant find the video though...sorry.
I had to adjust mine straight from the dealer. It kind of sagged on both sides and didn't line up with the front. Loosened things up and held in place when tightening and now its all good. Definitely noticed QC isn't great with these trucks.
I have noticed the transmission shifting issue described above when cold pulling up my hill out of the driveway. Low to mid acceleration it will kind of "bog" when it shifts. Happened probably a dozen times. Now I just adjust how much gas I give it when cold pulling out and don't notice it as often.
I have this with my sunroof too. Dealer lubed it up once already but it came back within a few days. Really common with F150's. If you google it there are a few DIY fixes. I haven't had the chance to attempt one on mine yet.
I have a MaxJax M-6 but unfortunately I have not had my truck up on the lift yet...so I cant comment whether it will work on not. I got it mainly for my other cars. I have driven through a truck scale recently though and my truck was at 6,200 lbs with me in it. Dont know about the different axle...
There is something wrong. It should go almost all the way full on the gauge. Boost leak or issue with the sensor or something. Does it feel slow/sluggish?
Its bronze gold + a few coats of graphite metalizer over the top. The bronze gold is very gold and I wanted more of a dark satin bronze. I think if I did it again I would try brass monkey.
I did it straight on the car. With plastidip you dont need to remove anything. Just mask the brakes by...
I went with s2 amber cornering, driving/combo and a spot. I like the smaller amber on the outside and leave that one on almost all the time. I think the 2 Squadrons + the smaller S2 look the best with the triangle shape of the fog hole imho. The cornering is bright but doesn't throw the light so...
Purchased this but didn't realize that 2019's are a different part number. Was installed for a short period of time but was having issues with the alarm going off. This part is for a 2018 only.

I was doing some research on this topic lately since I’m looking at getting a UTV and thought maybe putting it in the bed would work. What I read is the issue is not the static weight that’s the problem. It’s dynamic. When you go over bumps in the road it puts a lot of pressure if you have...
Never had an issue with mine but I have the factory ramps that lock on to the tailgate so they “protect” the cover with a lip. Definitely dinged that up quite a bit already.
I have BD sport fogs with yellow S2s and I leave those on usually 80% of the time. The others are too bright for the road so I only flip them on occasionally when no ones around.
From my research collision mitigation that actually brakes for you (Collision Avoidance) wasn’t put in the raptors until 2019. That is one of the reasons I went for the ‘19 over an ‘18. I think they added the Lidar sensor in the ‘19s for that to work and for ACC to go below 12mph...not 100% sure...
I say go for it. Get an extended warranty and try to park in end spots or If you can’t between two small cars so they can’t ding you. Trucks and some SUVs can clear the running boards but short cars can’t.
