Front Bumper Adjustment?

Hi All,

I have already looked at the crooked bumper, and other adjustment threads, but I just wanted to get your guy's opinion on if this is an easy adjustment. It came like this from the dealer... the passenger side is about 3/4" - 1" off (pushed in, or pulled back depending on reference). You can see it lines up flush on the driver's side. Trying not to make big deal out of it, but it's bugging me. I would like to do it myself, but don't want to get into removing the skid plate, cruise control, etc... What do you think?

There is a bar inside the wing of the bumper. Loosen the outside bolt, pull into position. Keep in position and tighten the bolt. Should line right up. May need to play with the inside bolt on the bar if it is not where you want it.

Yes! This was a super easy fix. Thank you! The bolt on the driver side arm looked like this:



and the bolt on the passenger side arm looked like this:



It literally took less than 10 minutes to fix and now it looks perfect!

Yep. Easy fix! Had to do the same to mine. Just put in the Icon Impact Bumper this weekend. No adjustment needed but took 5 hours to install!

I just did mine. I also loosened the two bolts holding the bumper end to the center bumper section....this made it easier to get into place....then tightened the arm in pics above first. All good and easy like others mentioned.

I had to adjust mine straight from the dealer. It kind of sagged on both sides and didn't line up with the front. Loosened things up and held in place when tightening and now its all good. Definitely noticed QC isn't great with these trucks.

One of my front shocks was installed w/ the protective plastic wrap still intact on the top 1/2 of shock body & trapped in place w/ the spring. Did my best ripping it off- sealer service guy acknlowedged but didn’t offer to do anything about it. Was also missing a screw on my skid plate.

I was thinking to myself- if I ever have an issue they try to blame on a mod I’ll be like - listen ********, you guys sold me a truck that they didn’t even bother fully unwrapping parts for install & I’m supposed to believe it’s all put together nice & tight? Gtfoh!

I had some wrap on my shocks as well.....if this is all the problems I have then I will be good....no make the great....love driving this truck more than anything else I have.....goes anywhere I want to go in any weather.

Yeah I’m not knocking the truck per se, all makes have issues- I’ve had no real issues w/ mine in 18k miles thus far. Just not super confident in the dealer techs or assembly line QC. The design/engineering in general I think is very solid relative to the competition.

I have some plastic wrap/protection that should have been removed at the factory on my lower dash/center consol. Tried to take it off but the panel needs to be removed to really get it off. Really annoying.
