What's with the attitude from Dealers?? ADM...

Wanted a Raptor since their inception. REFUSE to pay MSRP most times but NEVER EVER over. 2020 hit as did covid. Paid invoice for a brand new 2020 802a at 1.9%. I don't regret the wait, and would have an R now for the same but not a penny over MSRP.

    New Falken Wildpeak AT4W

Yep, great all around less the weight. VASTLY better than the KO2s in every way, again less weight. Someone will have to come out with something significantly lighter for me not to buy another set.

Anyone on 2nd Gen Live Valves w/TSW Bravo valving

My google Fu is lacking again. I scheduled with TSW to do exchange for my 2020 live valves. The Truck has Deaver +2 HDs out back with otherwise OE suspension. Added the Bravo valving/TSW (RPG) zero lift top hats, schrader valves/Viton seals/shaft polishing. STRANGELY, I can't find many talking...

Full Race's "Gen 2.5" Raptor build

I swear someone else had done it before. However, at this age/mileage I just can't remember which forum. However, if it works and helps people here, all the better.

Full Race's "Gen 2.5" Raptor build

In retrospect I cannot say for sure it was Gen 2 motors. Back when I first decided to "settle" for an ecoboost raptor, did a lot of reading on the F150 forums. In following your thread, I had remembered saving the link to that pump. I have not found a link to that thread yet. The reason I asked.

Just installed Whipple 3.8L on my 2024 R

Eric, like many, probably doesn’t give two shits about 1/4 mile, zero 60, (“bitcoin”) etc. Trucks not going to be faster than a car because mass is real. However, measurable improvements are a goal of most. A 200plus whp improvement on the same dyno IS a very measurable improvement even if it’s...

Just installed Whipple 3.8L on my 2024 R

For those too lazy to actually watch the video, at about 10 mins ish they add Whipple tune. First cold pull after install 756 whp vs. 557whp stock on the same dyno, cooler day IIRC. He says 250 whp because of the temp difference of the two dyno pulls. I think he may being a bit over optimistic...

Just installed Whipple 3.8L on my 2024 R

Whipple is in bed with Ford. So I'm missing the "lack of tuning" part. Of course there is an included "tuned" map for the larger blower unless I'm misunderstanding something.

@full-race geoff Is the Melling M390HV Oil Pump really an upgrade? I've heard of people using it, but don't know if it offers more than just more oil pressure. Or I should say, I've not heard if the design itself is more robust or just a spring pressure change.

If this in fact true... better for the end user. Just seems a little too good to be true. Esp that last part.

    Raptor suspension

With the +2 HDs I have about 150-200 lbs of gear in the truck at all times. Both bed and cab. Back to back noticed the HDs slightly rougher first drive. With in a day I was used to it and didn't even notice. Wife didn't notice at all. To me 200% worth it. Front end is completely stock and the...

Deavers are known to have a crappy coating, other than that they have been doing springs since wagons… no, really, over a century. Can knowing what I know now, I’d still do deavers again.

    Raptor suspension

Search... I think I recall some fitment issues with other products like traction bars or the like. And that "adjustability" doesn't mean as much for those that can't do their own work, or are not willing to pay twice or more .

Good question and an interesting cover. Since this is my only Ford, didn't know FP had their version of it. Suspect if it does fit it may have to be installed and fitted off the truck for clearance to set the torque on the tensioners. I can't remember where they would land.

    Raptor suspension

Whether you go with the SD or HD you need the +2 or more depending on your application. Ford was ******* stupid and put a lift block between the axle and spring. +2 is stock height with the dumb **** block removed. + 3 is a 1" lift from stock with the block removed.

    Raptor suspension

I went with the Deaver +2 HD’s. They have a higher spring rate, that I initially felt. However, within a week or two I was used to them, and I can throw the boat on the back of the truck and not have the headlights pointed at the sky. In my case it’s worthwhile. It’s supposed to be 450 pounds of...

So, even if I don’t get in on it (yet extremely interested), I’m sure there are plenty of people who run this platform hard enough, modified enough, to need an iron housing. Although it may be a niche market, there’s at least some money to be made there, and or at least bragging rights for a...
