Purchased for my Gen 1 front end swap but it turns out these are too stiff for my setup. They have less than 800 miles on them and we’re only installed a total of 18 days.
located in SoCal (zip 92307)
I would prefer not to ship but will if we can work it out. Shipping through USPS is coming...
It’s actually made for the f150 platform, it’s the cooler they use overseas (Saudi Arabia) for the higher temp areas. It’s available here in the US though as long as you have a correct part number.
5 minute install.
Installed the larger OEM transmission cooler today. Super easy to install and was able to fill with 1/2 quart of fluid before it wouldn’t take anymore.

While I don’t completely agree, it’s better than the OEM chrome grill.
I have been working hard to get the Gen 1 style grill from Boost Bars. They have been out of stock but I’m hoping I can get it ordered soon. The Gen 1 grill looks better on the Gen 1 trucks.
I was thinking the same thing. I love the idea, but with all things “Raptor” I bet that conversion piece is $800-$1000 for the set, not including install. But they time it’s installed and Gen 2 shocks are sourced I bet the cost is similar to the 3.0 upgrades out there.
still though, cool that...
I love project farm, been following that channel for a long time.
as far as k&n, I’ve had one installed in every vehicle I’ve ever owned, probably 450,000 miles combined over 5 vehicles and never once had an issue. I use the recommended recharge kit and clean/reoil the k&n when I change my oil...
yeah I’ve been trying to order the Gen 1 style grill from Boost-Bars but it hasn’t been in stock since November. They said the demand is low for that grill so they’d email when it’s back in stock. I actually prefer the Gen 2 grill look, but I agree it doesn’t match up with the Gen 1 body lines...
Yes... not a Raptor. But I swapped my front end to the Gen 1 suspension and added Eibach coils and Camburg upper control arms. The added width needed new fenders and the OEM Raptor fenders were too pricey for what they are so I went with 3” flattop fiberglass from McNeil Racing. Fittment is...
Haha, I’m actually trying to set up some time next week to remove the eibach springs and go back to the OEM black springs. I really think the amount of lift I’m seeing is due to the lack of weight in the front. The eibach coils are built to support a much heavier 6.2L front end, my 3.7l v6 just...
they’re the metric 35, 315/70r17. They have about 20,000 miles on them though so about 1/2 tread left. I’d love to run a 37” tire but my 75-80 mile daily commute disagrees with me. Haha.
Still tall in the front, but I added an “add a leaf” to the rear this weekend. Leveled it out a bit compared to how it sat last week. Still no settling from the front eibach coils, but the front rake is much more manageable now.
i didn’t, I went right to the eibach. I still have them though, I’m going to run this setup for a few weeks to see if they settle down at least an inch. If not I’ll probably throw the OEM black coils on.
I really appreciate the help!
Yes, is it not a Raptor... but I did the complete suspension swap in front, correct lowers, correct uppers (from camburg), correct tie rods and the Gen 1 shocks which I put the correct eibachs on.
a little background, truck is a 3.7L v6 and rear wheel drive. Maybe the additional weight of the...
thanks! I’m gonna call eibach tomorrow to get some info on my PN. Weird though, the box they shipped in had the correct E30 number, and also the individual boxes they were in also had the E30 number. But my coils have E31 stamped. I’ll keep you guys posted.

Sorry I’m a little late to the party! If you ever need a rebuild in the future I would check these guys out. Shipping is pricey (due to weight) but the rebuild and refinish is great for the price. I added high temp seals and a flutter stack with my...
I just got my shocks back from a rebuild and kept them on low perch, and added eibach springs. I haven’t installed yet but I will post the installed measurements when I have them.
Not exactly what you’re looking for, but if you have a drop in Bedliner you could do something similar. I welded the carriage bolts to the flat bar, but you could just use bolts if you don’t have access to welder. Good luck!
