GEN 1 DIY Molle panel questions

I’m trying to see if anyone has ever made their own panel like the Builtright panels for the bed? I’m wanting to make something inexpensive just for one of the rear sides closest to the tailgate. Just need to strap a shovel and a fire extinguisher to it. Any cool pictures or ideas of your home made ones?

Not exactly what you’re looking for, but if you have a drop in Bedliner you could do something similar. I welded the carriage bolts to the flat bar, but you could just use bolts if you don’t have access to welder. Good luck!

That is clever. Gives me some ideas. I’m looking more for some sort of paneling that will be bolted maybe to my tie down bolts.
