Honest question here - I am just looking for the positives. Why did YOU decide to buy the truck?? Something about it made you drop some good money on this vehicle. With this much to dislike, what were the positive things that made you hand over the check?

Not Toyo MTs - but then again it is a raptor so you should still get Toyo MTs and enjoy everything except the road noise :) Open the roof and turn up the tunes, you wont hear the tires howling

yes i knew someone was looking into them i just couldn't remember who! when you posted the link i looked into them. I personally think they are cool looking and different but to each their own! one of these would certainly be a bit impractical the asking price on this one doesnt seem bad to me...

I am a +1 for a true premium audio system - I wont ever tear mine apart to upgrade but would like to just buy a $70k truck with a stereo that I felt good about!!

I dont mind it in normal driving - it is easy enough to switch to sport mode when driving aggressively.

Agreed with the above....you came into contact with something pretty hard whether you realized it or not...we will give you the benefit of the doubt ;). I would call the insurance company and get a claim going. I don't see how Ford could warranty it. Pay your deductible and carry on....

I run a COBB AP and that will display oil temp, I dont know a way to display it directly off the OEM gauges though

From all the research I have done and reading on this forum - Additives are a no-no with these trucks.

This looks and sounds like fun!!! I think you should be able to hold your own if a "stockish" STi is taking home the trophy. I would think you can out traction him.

I love the look and I am sure the light output is incredible - but I just couldn't drill through the roof... From everything I hear the gravity rack has quite a bit of wind noise, understandably so.
