also hope they do it right and build it from the ground up and not try to just modify a rebel.

Glad to hear FCA is stepping into the race... Supposedly Chevy wants to get their @$$ handed to them too and will try to compete. Ford will up their game to stay in top. Good news for Raptor as a brand and flagship.

I read somewhere that it would have "fender extensions with exposed fasteners". I saw those on the test mules but I hope that's not production.

My hope. Dodge releases the TRX and it absolutely crushes the Raptor across the board in on/off road performance at a lower price point. This would force Ford's hand to either step up and beat the TRX or get out of the game. Hoping that they step up.

I've been following the rumors of the TRX with a version of the Hellcat mill for a while, I hope FCA can execute this better than the JL and Gladiator. Those two have been quality control nightmares, and I actually really wanted to like them.

Having sworn off FCA after owning two problematic Ram trucks back in the day, I've always been a closet fan of the Rebel (not compared to the Raptor, obviously) and think a beefy supercharger and real suspension should allow it to sell like hotcakes if they price it correctly.

I'm not sure it could look any closer to a raptor clone from that angle

Might actually be able to use some A plans on this TRX too . Ford does not allow such things with the raptor. Will they allow you to lease also I wonder

If you want to see the most new vehicles getting warranty work done go to an FCA, RAM, Jeep dealership - pretty sketchy. Chevy N RAM can try to imitate the Raptor but their efforts to date fall very short. Ford put the time in on R&D down in Baja with desert racers over several years to develop the Raptor, just don't think the others have done the due diligence. RAMs are made in Mexico so maybe that counts.
