I'm not sure about that, a flat 6 Porsche race motor is pretty damn impressive. Some others would say a Ferrari flat 12 is the best sounding motor. A big block V8 also sounds damn good. So I wouldn't say it's the best sound that's subjective, all good just different.
The more exhaust threads I read the more I want to leave it stock. I don't really have an issue with the enhanced sound, what's the difference between this and a valve to the end user?
100 hp increase with the stock turbos is plausible, but it will probably require cat bypass and a full tune. And there goes the warranty....and it's a 6000# truck. But I agree the 3.5 HO EB is a great platform.
Oh dude, it just doesn't work that way, it's just not that easy. Horsepower gains are not additive, in other words a muffler adds 12 hp and a CAI adds 12 so you must have at least 24 right?... wrong, it's the combo, that might increase the power, but I'll bet it's not 25 hp, the actual number...
Guy, the Ford exhaust is going to sound better for sure, but I'm highly skeptical of 12 HP. My experience on turbos has been unless the exhaust has significantly less back pressure the gains will be minimal, probably single digit. The biggest restriction to flow is the cats, most OEM cats are...
There's usually a lease termination fee, typically $350 plus the payments, which you are going to pay anyway. A couple more payments isn't bad. Most carmakers give you a break on 3-6 m payments if leasing another one. For example Porsche offers up to 6 " free" payments when leasing another Cayenne.
I just sent my 4+ year old V1 in for upgrade, $99 including shipping. Had it back to me in less than a week. Now let's see if it will stop the incessant false alarms.
Congrats! I originally ordered Magnetic then switched to Avalanche, I could have gone either way they're both awesome colors. I would drop the graphics myself, but that's me.
