Sacrilege!
JK, I have run these on my Raptor for the past year and a half. Towing was the main reason for the purchase. It certainly reduced rear end sag and makes things less sketchy around corners with a trailer. I don't offroad super hard core, but I have flown down dirt/wash board roads and...
I took a chance and ordered an exhaust from these guys. I read the reviews and it's pretty hit or miss. For the price I'll gamble and keep y'all updated. Hopefully it drop ships from Magnaflow without any problems. Perhaps this is worth a few HP at this power level over the factory muffler setup.
I will be dropping these heads off with Greg Good/High Performance Connection this weekend. I'm very excited to find a reputable cylinder head porter that's local.
I got an e-mail back from Whipple in regards to pulley size, but they weren't really sure what to recommend. Unfortunately not a...
Haha that's a huge ass dune. Mine mostly sees tarmac being in Houston, but it does see dirt/washboard ranch roads and mud from time to time. The sand looks fun though.
Since I work for Circle D, I will be changing out the torque converter while this is all apart. We are swapping to a slightly...
LOL I was joking with some buddies I would put 4 beadlocked welds on and drag radials. I have been launching and running in 4 hi with pretty decent traction. It's not spinning. There's no chance in 2wd from a dig even with the locker engaged. Has anyone ever broken one of these transfer cases...
Well, the truck is tuned with HP Tuners. Realistically I need to get my tuner out with the laptop and make some street pulls. I think I would like to be in the 8-850whp range. This seems like a feasible goal and make the expense of all these new parts worth it. From what I was seeing in...
I'm not sure what my AFR was doing and that's probably not the right answer. I'm thinking about picking this up to monitor that: Does anyone have any experience with it? I like the install.

I was thinking I might be OK with the overdrive balancer because of the headers. I am still rocking the stock exhaust out the back. Likely there's a bit of restriction there. I was wrong on the HP though. Just under 600. I thought it was just over. Interesting power dip around 4700. Probably...
I bookmarked this. I think I prefer it over the boost a pump solution. Either seems very simple and would get me to my goals as long as I stay on 93.
I am running the stage 2 60lbs injectors.
This is super helpful for me. Thank you for linking this thread. I will do some research on L&M. I had my Lightning rebuilt at Triangle and I think they may have done my 5.4. 10.9 is incredible. I'm just trying to stay relevant with the TRX coming out. Haha
^^Man, the only thing worse than letting loose on the street is letting loose on the track. You feel bad for yourself AND everybody else.
I blew up a stock motor on my 99 Lightning. Very similar swiss cheese results. Someone called the fire truck for that one. I was racing a duramax, and he...
No tears shed. I knew I was pushing things pretty far past what's recommended. I am for sure going with a built bottom end. No stock stuff going back in. Right now it looks like my better choices are MMR and Livernois but I'm open to suggestions. I would prefer a company that is relatively...
So it looks like I have at least two holes in the block and one in the oil pan. Note the oil all over the back of the truck. So now I am in the planning stage of a new build. My tuner and shop didn't mention I was running out of fuel, but I suspect It may have gone lean. I am going to have them...
First a little backstory to preface this thread. The truck was stock with a ProCharger/upgraded torque converter and made 450whp for a while. I wound up jumping the truck, shredded a belt and was disgusted with how difficult a serpentine belt change was. Either the blower bracket bolts had to be...
Depending on belt tension, you may be feeling the ac compressor kicking on. I notice it on smooth highway while cruising with my procharged setup. Easy to test by just turning the climate off.
