what track?
the two-track that you see in the photo is in the Foreground.
I'm estimating based on the video, the pictures and the shadow on the "ground".
It is maybe 8" of powder. He's 7-9 feet in the air. There is no logical way to get to 20 feet of air based on the video and stills that...
go grab an RC car and huck it off of a large jump. If you stay on the gas, the nose of the vehicle will rotate up. ( the RC car will probably do a backflip if you stay in it.) If you let off the gas, nose will rotate down.
If you tap the brakes in a real truck mid-air, the truck will nose down...
i think you're wrong. Looking at the pic, you could easily park another raptor underneath the airborne one. a stock gen2 raptor is 78.5" tall.
It's at least 7 feet off the ground.
that's what happens when you aren't on the gas at take-off and through the entire jump.
the nose comes down because the fuel tank is on the driver's side 3/4 of the way toward the rear. the truck carries more momentum on the rear DS corner and makes the who thing rotate like that. ( If you hit...
no. there are two different frequencies that Ford has used on Raptors. You will want the person working on the truck to figure out which you have. I thought I had one frequency based on build date and it turned out that I had the older frequency.
adding a tpms sensor to your spare doesn't negatively affect the truck at all. It may take up to 50 miles for the truck to pick up the new sensor ( unless you have a reset tool with you).
and you guys actually balance your tires? is this the " princess and the pea" section of the forum?
my...
1. GT350 and GT500 brakes are seriously fantastic.
2. The raptor's brakes, the booster, the precharge, the EVERYTHING lean towards the intended use of the truck ( offroad).
I did not find the raptor's brakes lacking until I REALLY started beating on it offroad. They fade and don't do so well...
I'd recommend against a chase rack ( like the ADD offerings).
The aluminum beds flex. Adding a steel chase rack will almost certainly cause the aluminum to crack with consistent offroad use.
I like A-Pillar lights as an alternative. You won't be going fast enough while overlanding to need...
no, that won't cause bump steer on IFS. ( at least not unless the bump encountered with a singular tire is significant enough to make the tire turn. the steering tie rod design should compensate for the up/down motion on an IFS suspension and not be impacted. higher travel designs tend to use a...
I'd disagree.
Ford didn't have to make a GT350R, but they did and it is awesome.
They also didn't have to offer the carbon package on the GT500 either. But, they did.
Ford built a track car that runs with a 911 GT3, they'll build the Raptor R to Decimate all.
a legit Raptor R Defines the...
