Deaver/geiser springs and police package brakes were both noticeable improvements over stock.
About to roll 100k and will goose stage 2 once warranty is gone.
Perfect, thanks. I'm waiting on a local off-road shop to free up one of their lifts so that they can rebuild mine. That's about what I'm expecting to pay as well.
Couldn't find any ply info on the sidewall.
M/T calls it 'next gen' high tensile lightweight ply. I was in the bike tire industry for a while and learned that you can get strength and durability without bulk/weight so I wasn't too concerned about ply count.
We'll see how that works out but they...
this is the only pic I have but the voids on the outer lugs are comparable to the mud tires I had previously. Center lugs clean out well, though they do pick up stones which thankfully stay within the wheel wells when they eject at speed. Tread is deep too. These are 315s.
Not sure on sidewall...
I recently put on some M/T Baja Legend EXP tires and am loving them after 3k miles.
So serious offroad but did well in the sand, dirt roads and NC clay mud that I come across frequently.
Quiet, great manners at high speeds and cornering, light, and expensive lol.
When first installed it was quieter than stock.
35k miles later, it's pretty throaty at cold-start and WOT but very civilized under normal conditions and cruising at speed.
M/T Baja Legend EXP tires.
Quiet, felt great on 1000mi 80+mph drive, good handling on windy rural roads and hook up predictably on dirt roads.
No complaints and a standout tire among the many I've had on various trucks.
Yeah, mine is an s-type.
Awful until i added resonator.
Was very quiet at first but deepened with use, no booming and no rasp.
I've got 30k on mine and love it.

My non atak borla sounded like ass with their Hpipe. Raspy, boomy and ricer.
Added their resonator and it's now perfect: cold start, idle, cruise and WOT.
If you’re sticking with OEM brakes look into the police pursuit rotors and pads. These were big improvement on my truck in terms of fade resistance and modulation. They’re a little louder (semi metallic?) but don’t create as much dust. I believe there’s only an option for front brakes and cost...
Do you have the borla resonator installed? Ditching the x pipe made a huge difference on my truck.
No more boominess at 2k, sounds great at idle and WOT and mellow around town.
What size tires are those?
I've got 3" geisers & +3 Deavers and am debating between 315 or 37" Toyo OC trails (want S speed rating).
My current 35" tires fall between those two sizes, worried 315 will look small.
Occasional use of Sport mode presents the quirky behavior people dislike, imo.
Once I ran it constantly, the annoyance went away.
Doesn't hang up in gear awkwardly, shifts smoothly (still fast/firm) and predictably, and just feels natural.
I like fact that it's on boost more despite MPG hit...
