Been a while since I've posted, Army has kept me busy this last year and half..... any updates
2017 SCAB @92k miles running 93 stg 2 (cvf FMIC) and e50 tunes for 60K+ miles issue free.
@GooseTuned anything new I should be tracking or looking out for summer is officially here and looking to...
Anyone that has replaced their brakes please chime in.
I'm @92k miles and it's time to replace the rotors and pads. I've never thought the brakes were super great to begin with.
My budget is around 1k for parts. I'll do the work myself to put them on.
I do spirited driving both on a off road...
@GooseTuned any updates to your 93 stg 2 map for us og goosetuned members? Still running like a champ but just seeing if you picked up any more power over the last year
OP- find a good body shop and they will have her up and running in no time. I just went through this before leaving for JRTC and it cost my insurance company 11+k. Bumpers were never at the top of my priority list as much as performance (GT-ed STG2 E50) but yeah I've been on a hunt for some good...
I put approximately 25k miles on a homemade VTA mod and it sounded ok, the boomba units is noticeably louder. I can easily hear it when stereo volume is under 12 during normal driving. If driving aggressively then it is significantly louder then just venting the ebov the "cap" way. I did install...

I have put another 200 miles on so far in varying temps/humidty and rain with nothing but strong performance.
I did pull...

I daily drive mine and it's currently running @wgr73 e50 tune and feels great. Well summer is quickly approaching so I will be installing a CVF IC and 170 degree thermostat here shortly. I'm looking...
Update.....
I couldnt find the culprit regardless of which spark plug/ignition coil switch I did. Brand new oem plugs gapped to .028 (triple checked using two gap tools). Still no luck........
I finally broke down and disassembled the ignition coils and boots to remove the spring retainers...
@wgr73 sent you some DL's to look at when and or if you have a chance. I will be tearing everything apart again to re-inspect spark plugs and ensure each and every one has a gap of .028 and will verify them again just to be overly sure. I will also take out the sensors that get soaked in oil and...
@wgr73 funny you mention that because that's exactly what I did this afternoon before this post. I'm not getting a CEL or anything but definitely popping misfires like crazy on the Cobb AP
......... seems like this pesky misfire is back....
I have removed my vta mod, changed plugs to factory ones and gapped to .026 and also changed all coils around to narrow down if I have a faulty coil???????
it only misfires at WOT when boost goes above 18ish lbs.
misfires are random on...
