You could also try using forscan and turn off "bulb out" feature.
When I swapped out my bulbs to led, it hyper-flashed because of the low draw. I installed resistors but those got really hot and go bad as well. So I opted to use forscan to turn off the hyper flash and that fixed it.
For those who may have a similar setup for the Gen 1, after playing around with my truck bed, I was able to get my truck cover USA tonneau to work with the builtright panels (front and rear). Now I can securely leave my things in there without worry.
Not today, but a couple of weeks ago I installed the Lee Power Steering kit. I have to say, it was one of the more difficult projects I've done to the truck due to the limited resources and set up. Overall, I'm happy with the kit.
