I recently purchased a RPG Raceline front bumper from Kirk at Raptor Addict. I've purchased other RPG products thru Kirk before, and as usual his customer service and prices were awesome! With Kirk, you know you're talking to a fellow Raptor owner and enthusiast. So not only does he answer...
It won't trip just because you rolled over 30k. Nothing is written in the logic to make them do that. I'd take it to autozone and at least let them scan it and see what it says before you try and clear it by disconnecting the battery.
You would have to pull the blower motor assembly out which isn't bad to do. It's by the passenger kick panel towards the fire wall. It has one electrical connector and 3 (iirc) screws holding it in. From there you just maneuver it out towards the floor board.
Vehicles of any model will get randomly selected to be test driven after assembly. I've seen 50 to 100 miles. Usually they will have a sticker on one of the windows stating it was pulled for extra testing/x amount of miles.
You only need to buy the correct valve stems to swap sensors to a new wheel. The sensor bolts to the valve stem. There is no o ring or seal in this type of sensor design. I've seen these stems dry out and start leaking often. It's a good idea to replace these stems when you replace tires, or at...
Did mine last weekend. It's not that bad/hard. Taped off the lines I wanted using masking tape and made the cut using a pneumatic cut off wheel. Went slow and steady but moved around making surface cuts so I didn't stay in one place for too long and burn the paint. There are some inner supports...
Probably has something caught in the fan blades. Not likely a blade is broke. I've seen something as simple as a twig or leaf throw them out of balance.
Yeah I ended up using a pneumatic 3" cutoff wheel. Taped off the lines I wanted with some masking tape and went to town. It's a little nerve racking but went easier than I thought. I made brief surface cuts then moved further along so I didn't stay in one place too long burning the paint. There...
Yeah had to cut the frame horns for the race line. It wasn't too bad. It's solid though, has 8 bolts holding it on and I was able to reuse my tow hooks, which my drivers side hook saved me BIG time yesterday. Was crossing one of the last creeks going up Imogene and landed in a big sink hole...
No problem, should be a fun trip! Can't wait to meet everyone.
RPG raceline. I really like it! Did a rear raceline also. I cut the dove tail earlier that (yesterday) morning before I went to Silverton, so it made for a quick trail trip!
Went to silverton/ouray yesterday to run a few trials and none of the ones listed in the planned run are closed (yet). I don't foresee the fire spreading that far west. Not enough growth (nothing) to burn once you meet treeline. Alpine loop, engineer, Imogene, Ophir should be fine. Not even that...
