Finally got the wrap on and it looks great. I can't say that was a fun or easy project. But it was worth it because of how awesome it looks. I just did the cup holder/shifter piece because I am not sure how to get off the nav screen piece. I think I will take it somewhere to have that part...
I need some help from someone who has wrapped there cup holder/shifter section. I just tried to wrap it, had a blow dryer for heat, and I can see where the blow dryer helps get the wrap to stretch and really mat onto the surface.. but I still had wrinkles in a lot of places that were not going...
I could definitely be wrong but when I first got my tuner from Mike it took a while for the computer to figure out when to shift and how to smooth things out. So with the SCT tuner it might automatically calibrate the shifting after a while. But maybe manual settings have to be changed since...
I started in on the Tuffy lock box project this afternoon. It was an easy install. I didn't cut my floor mats like others have. I may or may not in the future. For me to do it today would have required some rubber silicon to put along the edge where I cut to prevent water getting under the box...
I've asked questions on Duratracs on a different thread before but I have seen so many people run the Open Country MT I can't decide what to think. I am pretty sure that the next set of tires I run will be one of the two but I need to get some input from the people who bought what to see why...

Is your brother a better driver?... But none of this matters anyway once you hit the dirt because it will handle any other factory purpose built truck on the market.
I went the leveling kit route to begin with and it was a bad idea.. and unnecessary. Big J can give you a real explanation of why not to do it if you need any more info. than has been given so far.
Well I've had my new Tuffy security box sitting around for two days now and my AVS vinyl wrap for a day now. Can't wait to get to work on both projects but I still can't do much with the wisdom teeth just taken out. So for now I guess I'll just keep eating my pudding.
Sent from my iPad...
I've had AVS shades since the day I drove my truck and I haven't had a problem with them yet. It's been 8 months. They look great and the price is great too. I know many others on here have them too.
Really liking the look of the platinum center console pad. Looks clean and is definitely more comfortable than the stock raptor version. Hopefully it's durable though.
