I need some help from someone who has wrapped there cup holder/shifter section. I just tried to wrap it, had a blow dryer for heat, and I can see where the blow dryer helps get the wrap to stretch and really mat onto the surface.. but I still had wrinkles in a lot of places that were not going to come out.

I need to know how people prep the wrap piece they are laying on. Do you cut out the precise measurements of the spots that need to be cut out? (Aux switch box)? Or do you just lay it all out there and just start working it out? Anyone who has done this before it would be much appreciated if you would chime in to how you did it.

It would be so much easier if I could take the aux switch box off then do it.

Thanks

Nevermind all--Like a ******* I never checked until after I typed it to see if the aux switch box comes off and it does... so now I will give it another go round and see how attempt #2 goes.

Results will follow.

Finally got the wrap on and it looks great. I can't say that was a fun or easy project. But it was worth it because of how awesome it looks. I just did the cup holder/shifter piece because I am not sure how to get off the nav screen piece. I think I will take it somewhere to have that part done. But for the time being, this is great.

I'll have good pictures in the light tomorrow.
