well....mine is not making the noise at startup like it was but i only have ~200 miles on since having the cam phasers replaced under SSN #48168
Have you compared what you had done to SSN #48168? I'm wondering if there are now updated parts and/or updated PCM tuning
Revisiting this... same thing is happening to my truck, they’ve done the reprogram and I’m still having issues, so now getting new APIM. Oddly enough I just bought a new expedition and the side cameras were messed up. It’s getting a new APMI also.
Is this becoming a common issue?
Local dealer here in the San Antonio area has also told me there's a wait on parts. I've not had my truck in yet, but i know i have the issue and getting worse. Jan 2018 build, 25k miles....
I was there w/ you yesterday although I wish the mess I made was only the size of an egg! Added to the mess when swapping the filter which was nearly impossible due to my ADD Stealth Fighter bumper and S&B CAI. Hopefully the Ronin install will need to quicker/cleaner change next time although...
With everything I've done above I am still anal about where I park. If I was at a hotel here I think i'd park at the front door.

I don't think there is solution, or I haven't been able to find one.
on my F350 I have a WARN 12v quick connect under the front bumper if the battery dies. I've never used it in 10 years for a dead battery, there's always enough power to unlock the door even when not enough juice to start. There's ways to access the power if needed, better than a broken door...
Had the non keyed door handle, truck vault & Ravelco installed first week I got the truck.
San Antonio is not a safe place for Fords....
