Wow the corrosion on these shocks are bad. About three months ago I had my truck undercoated and the tech asked if he needed to tape the shocks off and I told him no go ahead and spray the shocks. Well after words I wondered if I made the right choice by having them sprayed but after seeing the...
Mine does this as well it sounds like the rods are knocking a little and only when cold and for a couple of seconds. I am very familiar with this because I had the same noise with my old Bronco with the 351 motor with 100k miles on it. I changed the rod and main bearings on the 351 and the noise...
The stops are pretty easy to install. One critical tip is to tie a string to the end of the old one when you remove it. This makes guiding the new stop in super easy. I would have finished in 20 minutes if I hadn't dropped one of the rubber plugs down into the space between the inner and...
X2, I would like to know as well. I have had Rhino liner sprayed twice (two different trucks) from Zeibart just up the road from the Line-X dealer on Van-Dyke and I had no problem. However I thought that I would check out Line-X this time just to keep Zeibart in check. If Line-X is charging...
Upgrading from an FX4 with max tow mirrors to a Raptor. I do miss my max tow mirrors that I had on my FX4 it’s just hard adjusting anybody else miss the max tow mirrors?
Regarding warranty does Line-X have a lifetime warranty on their spray in liners like Rhino liner does? If so what difference would it make which option you picked with Line-X liner?
This appears to be a problem with non Raptors as well. I bet I had this issue from the factory.
This is the link from another forum talking about the same issue we are having.

That is a good point I had not thought of that. Do the TPMS run of some kind of radio frequency and if the tire has air in it there is no issue? Just wondering
If I was to rotate the spare in and the tire with a TPMS gets put back in the spare position could the system be fooled because all the...
maybe taking the vehicle to one of those fast oil change places, I think they suck all the fluid out. But I cant confirm but I do know that's how they do it for trans oil changes.
Not to hijack thread but has anyone looked into a larger oil filter since we are discussing oil filters? There appears that there is room for a longer filter. I use a longer (larger capacity) filter on my Jeep 4.0L instead of the dinky stock one.
