He's 10. We saw it in the Lego store and had to have the "Raptor". Not sure about the wing but it does have a bed rack with a scale 6 foot long wrench in it! Its got reservoir shocks front and rear too. The box didn't say Raptor but looks kinda close.

That link is from my purchases. It came with the charging base and power plug, USB programming cable, and cd with Chirp in addition to the radio, battery and rubber duck antenna.
Most of the freqs used require an amateur radio license. The battery charge lasts longer the less you talk on it but you can expect 6-8 hours is my guess. I don't know that for sure, just an educated guess. The battery is removable so you can have a spare for when your radio dies.
