As long as you have the correct ones.... There is a procedure to perform somewhere here on the forum that someone posted years ago. And you don't need the TPMS tool. I don't have time today to search for it.

Have you unplugged the three PCM connections and checked for corrosion?

Hitting and holding the reset is a little tricky if you do that while idling or street driving. Best to only reset if on highway for a trip 30+ miles.

Corrosion and/or loose nuts at the starter terminals is a common problem. Disconnect the battery and then unbolt the nuts and clean all the eye end terminals. Maybe use some dialytic grease.
