Mine get rotated with every oil change at 5k miles. 25k miles and not even close to replacing. I expect 50k out of mine, traction is good and no weird sounds. My truck spends 95% of its life in 4a because of the 93PRX tune.
MPT PRX93 has worked very well for me for 20+ thousand miles now. I tuned mine at 5k miles because of the factory shift points. Holds gears longer and never leaves me wanting for more power. BTW, my buddy wanted to line our trucks up last week (Tundra). Did not work out well for him.
Definitely looks a little weird for my taste. Plus, couldn't help but notice that the rear fenders line up poorly with the tailgate (which also has a dent in it).
MPT PRX 93 and the truck is very quick from 70 to 130. Stock = Dog in the same scenario.
Its no Z06, but I only drive trucks daily, and this one is fast.
I reached out to the owner of the company, his name is Rich, he says the topper was released last week. The link is http://www.mivehiclesolutions.com, Michigan Vehicle Solution’s.
Its a local guy here in Detroit. He said release is coming soon. That pic is of a truck here where I live. The top has been removed, it was only on for a promotional photo shoot. The release will be coming in a magazine article (not sure which magazine). I'll contact the fabricator to see...
Definitely real. Saw it at my Airport a while back, they were taking magazine pics. They had a ruby red one too.
They asked me what I thought about it, told them not for me, but put some canvas on it, turn it into a pop up camper and someone will buy it. That being said, quality looked to be...
Ran these for a few hundred miles. There was no magical moment once I added them. Fuel economy did not change. What did happen is My trucks computers did not like them. Truck slowly developed a rough idle, shift strategies seemed to become confused. Swapped back to my 22,000 mile oe plugs...
I just looked back at your post on modifying the bedside stickers...what a totally different truck from those pics to now...looks great, and i like what you did to the stickers too.
What he is saying is that if you get an aftermarket wheel with a positive offset (+6 in my case) you will get some amount of rubbing at full lock even on the factory KO2 tire. A perch of some kind will be required to eliminate it. Expect more rubbing with an even larger tire.
I have the set up pictured above, without the amber lens on the KC's. People have asked me what aftermarket bumper I have. This kit looks factory, and is one of the best cosmetic upgrades I've done.
Nothing special about using a DA polisher. A fine cut compound, a pad and the polisher will keep them looking like brand new. Extremely easy to use. Take less than 5 minutes. Just clean them before you polish them.
