When I turn off my ignition I hear an electronic humming noise from behind the passenger side of the dash. The noise goes away when the truck powers down completely. Is this normal?
I watched that video before my download. My problem was once I downloaded the new file, it did not appear in the “Open” file drop down Menu. There were no files in there. I had to go find the download and try and put it in the program.
I installed the DSC controller yesterday. I found the stock configuration to be too stiff in normal mode For driving city streets. I then installed the updated Comfort File and the ride smoothed out nicely.

My experience with MY Raptor is the complete opposite. I’ve had zero issues, tons of power, love the transmission. Sure, I’d love V-8 sound, but the Ecoboost pulls hard and gets great gas mileage. That’s just my experience.
Other than the rapid wear, I am happy with the BFGs. They handled snow fair, were pretty quiet, and wore evenly, albeit fast. My tire guy is pushing the Falken Wildpeak on me but I’m Leary about putting an E rated tire on the Raptor. Any thoughts?
There was a video from a Ford mechanic on youtube in the recent past which showed a batch of Motorcraft filters with bad threads. You might have one of those. Get a different filter.
Welcome. Empirical evidence suggests the 2019s to have the best build quality than previous years and certainly the Post-Covid trucks. Good choice on the 2019 and welcome to the forum.
I do believe pre-Covid builds from every manufacturer are better. There is even a phenomenon on auto trader and cycle trader where “pre Covid“ is a selling point.
