New 19 Raptor owner

Hey everyone, great to finally be here!! Just bought a 19 Raptor and I’ve noticed my drivers side heated seat doesn’t work and the cooling seat fan seems to make a noise like it’s rubbing against something inside the seat.

Anyone have history with rebuilding this seat with new internals??

Welcome to the place, congrats on your raptor, post a pic for us. As far as the heated seat, you can order the element from Ford. There are a couple of write ups on here on how to do it on the gen 2. Try to use that "search" function in the top right corner and you might find them, if not, ask again and we will look for you.

I didn’t know the prius had heated/cooled seats ( no Raptor pics == prius )

User @goblues38 successfully redid the heating element recently and surprisingly it wasn’t that expensive.

Drivers Side Heated Seat fixed with pictures

Like many, my Gen 2 drivers side heated seat died. 3.2 years and 42,*** miles, so no warranty help. I bought the replacement heating element for $19. Plugged it in and confirmed it worked and the one in the seat did not. So time to get to work. #1 - disconnect battery. No one wants to risk...

Welcome. Empirical evidence suggests the 2019s to have the best build quality than previous years and certainly the Post-Covid trucks. Good choice on the 2019 and welcome to the forum.
